Each month, a small card is included inside the box that features a photo of the socks together with some of the wearable you can pair them with.

The Newports. These premium crew-cut style socks are made from Southern Scholar’s signature material blend that includes 55% polyester, 23% viscose-rayon, 17% nylon, and 5% spandex. The design features a combination of blue and sky blue colors, with textured chevron pattern.
According to the label, these socks are made using 200 Needle Count Knitting Machines. This process results in softer and more durable socks with just the right amount of stretch. Featured at the back of the paper sleeve is the proper way of washing and drying the socks.
Matching the pair with different formal attires won’t be a problem. According to the card, the Newports look great with a textured navy suit, cognac dress shoes, and a leather belt and watch. They can also be paired with a white dress shirt, and shades of white, brown, or sky blue pocket squares and ties.
The pair comes with an embroidered Southern Scholar logo just below socks’ cuffs.
Southern Scholar socks are always made from high-quality materials, giving them a premium look and feel. This month’s featured pair looks really great with the combination of blue shades and the patterned chevron design. They look good with the suggested colors from the card but I was surprised that they also looked nice with other colors in my wardrobe. They are really versatile! Of course, they are comfortable to wear and they maintain their quality even after several washes. If you’re someone who wears formal or business attires regularly, this subscription is a convenient way of getting fresh dress socks monthly. It’s also perfect for sock collectors!
