First – Thank you for visiting!
We use multiple forms of advertising – straight up advertising (like Google AdSense), affiliate advertising, and banner advertising. Generally you will see the Google ads above and below posts, and affiliate advertising on the homepage and sidebar. The Google ads are targeted to our content and generally what you have been browsing. We do not see the Google ads that you see or the ads that you choose to engage with. The affiliate ads and referral links on the sidebar are advertisements and companies that we have carefully selected to partner with. We would be delighted if you are interested in purchasing their products. You may sometimes see posts from us about the companies we have affiliated with. These are all great companies and we are proud to carry their ads on our site.
All posts will contain information at the top to notify you when a post contains affiliate and/or referral links, a press sample (something someone gave us to review), or if the post was sponsored (if we got paid to review the item).
Sometimes we post sponsored posts. They are a fantastic way for us to share a product or service that we love, and we generally do get compensated for our time in posting. We only accept sponsored posts from brands that we find interesting, exciting, and relevant to our readers.
To be honest, yes, when you get a box for free, you like it better.. the first few times. After a while it doesn’t play that large a role. But it is there because you didn’t pay for it. To suggest otherwise is naïve.
We love a healthy and robust comment and user review section, but supplying referral links, affiliate links, referral codes, and similar forms of advertising are against the terms of service for this site – your comment will either be edited with a notation that your link/code/etc has been removed, or deleted – it is up to our discretion.

We reserve the right to remove or edit any content for any reason, at any time without notice. We may, for any reason and at any time, deactivate any user’s account and restrict that user’s access to the site through the account system or otherwise.
We have no obligation to screen, edit or monitor user generated content posted on this site. However, we reserve the right to remove, screen or edit any such content at any time and for any reason, or for no reason, without notice. This may include content that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be inappropriate.
