Cairn promises that the total retail value of the items in each box will exceed $50, with a mix of gear, apparel, food, skin care, and emergency tools. If you complete the subscriber profile, the box will be curated to best match your outdoor lifestyle. As such, most months will see a variation of boxes, while there may be some months when everyone will get the same thing.

Matador Pocket Blanket 2.0.  An ultra-compact and lightweight blanket that can be used at the beach, for camping or for any outdoor adventure. It’s water and tear resistant.

It unfolds to a large 63″x44″, roomy enough to accommodate a picnic for two!

Each corner has a metal peg that can be used as a corner weight (when put back in their little pocket), or as a peg to hold the blanket in place.

It also has these neat little lines that you can use as a guide to fold back the blanket so it can fit in the tiny attached pocket.

Folded, it fits in the palm of your hand.

Green Goo Castile Wash – Double Mint. A biodegradable and non-toxic soap with a fresh herbal mint scent.

It can be used as body wash, dish soap, laundry detergent, so you only need to bring one soap in your adventure!

Green Goo First Aid Stick. An easy to sue stick to help relieve symptoms of insect bite, dry skin, blisters, cuts and scrapes, poison ivy or chafing.

This is a homeopathic item, so YMMV.

Laird Superfood – Coconut water with aquamin. Just add water to this freeze-dried coconut powder and you can benefit from the natural electrolytes from the coconut.

It contains a bit of sodium, some magnesium, and potassium, all three important electrolytes when you sweat a lot!

I wasn’t impressed by this box. The blanket is neat and convenient, the coconut water was tasty, I’m happy to have discovered a new all-purpose soap for when I go camping, but the first aid stick is not something I will be using. To me, this was just an ok box.
