Dia & Co. is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s like Stitch Fix, but for plus sizes. Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co. includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 25% discount.

There’s a personalized letter waiting for you when you open the box.

The invoice for Dia & Co. shows the price of each item plus my potential discount if I opt to keep all of the pieces.

The stylist’s note introduces you to your stylist, provides insight into the selections, and offers suggestions on how to style the garments.

I made it a point to emphasize that although I work in an office, I spend a lot of my workday outdoors and live in Florida where it is VERY humid, so I need clothes that are climate-friendly and easy care.

Vivi Clutch ($39.00): A PU leather clutch that can be worn as a cross body. The bag also has a wristlet strap and lots of pockets. This is a generous clutch (approx. 10″ long). Plus, the zipper pull can be locked to prevent accidental opening. The lock makes for a cute accent as well. I liked that this was a neutral bag that can go with a variety of styles. However, as an unbranded bag for $39, I found it to be overpriced.

Here’s a look at all of the internal storage space in the clutch. One side contains a zippered pocket and the other has 2 pouch pockets.

Meera Lane | Aris Kimono Blousse ($55.00): This is a polyester kimono/dolman style top with a fun abstract pattern. It contains an attached cotton/poly tank lining and removable faux necklace. This top was right up my alley, style-wise. A good item for work or a night out.

The fit was great and it gave an breezy vibe. I prefer it without the necklace detail – the piece looked very cheap up close and took away from the look of the top.

Molly & Isadora | Sydney Sleeveless Dotted Maxi Dress ($69.00): I loved this jersey knit dress. All I wanted was a large brimmed floppy hat and a mint julep so that I could pretend to be at the derby. The empire top has a faux wrap design with ties as a detail. The skirt looks almost like a gathered tube, but has a lot of movement. The dress received was a little big in the chest and waist, so I exchanged down 1 size.

Navy is a neutral that transcends seasons, which works well for the 2 seasons that I get in Florida – hot or wet.  Wear it as is for a spring/summer look or add a cardigan when temps get cooler.

East Adeline | Francesca Cap Sleeve Blouse ($45.00): I really liked the feminine floral pattern of this top. Everything about it screamed romantic to me, from the floaty chiffon to the large roses. It is layered for extra coverage too.

This was one of those tops that looked better on the hanger than on me. I felt that it needed some structure – looked like a sac and the neckline was where it cinched.

RWN by Rawan | Melbourne Tapered Trouser ($69.00): These charcoal gray trousers are a nice fall staple and welcome change from the ankle pant craze. They were a ponte knit pant which had some stretch throughout. The stitched front seam added a polished, tailored look.

This is styled with my own top. While I’m bigger through the middle and hips, I have skinnier legs. The cut of these trousers gave a generous leg allowance, so they looked baggy on me (in my opinion). Unfortunately, I couldn’t go down a size because the waist fit perfectly. (sigh)

The overall price of the box (if I kept all 5 items) was $188. This is after the $20 styling fee and 25% discount are applied. I returned my box with the exception of the maxi dress, which I exchanged for another size.

Dia & Co. does price match. However, I’ve noticed in recent orders that it has been harder to find the clothing brands received available at other retail outlets. A lot of the brands were only being sold on resale sites, making them ineligible for price matching. A little digging and I’ve uncovered the reason. Most of the clothing brands now sent are owned by Dia & Co., and not available elsewhere. This includes the following brands that I’ve been getting more and more:

  • Molly & Isadora
  • Meri Skye
  • East Adeline
  • Meera Lane
