February was another awesome month for Park Pack!! Disney Park Pack: Pin Trading Edition is a monthly mystery pack from the Disney Store. Every month in this subscription you’ll receive three official Disney pins – 2 open edition (released to subscribers before they’re made available to the public) plus a totally exclusive limited edition pin.
These are the Park Pack pins for February 2016. When I opened this box I was really excited to see a matching pin to last month!
Disney Pins are the perfect souvenir – small, not too expensive, and fun to collect. There’s no information card for this box, and just like every other month, I wish they’d include a curator’s note – maybe with names for these pins!
The backs of the pin cards show the prices for the open editions, but not the exclusive limited edition pin, because it won’t be sold anywhere else. All pins include the Mickey pin-backs!
Yokai (Big Hero 6) – ooooh, a villain! It’s a little complicated to explain if you’re not familiar with the story but let’s go with genius driven to villainy by grief. My family isn’t super into villains but maybe this means another pin from this movie coming next month!
Dumbo Circus Tent Limited Edition Pin: Wow! First of all, this matches the previous Dumbo Timothy Mouse Pin in the January box – for the past couple of months we have seen one of the open edition pins basically be a spoiler for the limited edition pin the next month, which I totally love! This month has Timothy on the front of the tent…
And when you open the doors our beloved Dumbo is inside! He is so sweet! My five year old was over the moon – he loves Dumbo!
The limited edition pins in this box each have a 750 pin run, and there are 4 variants. This month there was this lavender background, a turquoise one, a pink one, and a black one (or very dark grey). I prefer the color variations over the scene variations, because no pin is really “worse” than the other.
You can see on the back that it notes its a limited edition.
Marie from The Aristocats: Oh Marie, miaou!! She’s gorgeous all encrusted with pink and white crystals. I am sure we can all guess who claimed this one (our 7 year old daughter)!
Yet another month of being wowed by this subscription. Although nobody clamored for Yokai, I suspect that he will end up in my daughter’s collection! My money is on Big Hero 6 for next month’s limited edition, but it’s just a guess! Which pin was your fave this month?

Some general info about Disney Pins & Trading:
Prices: Green ($6.95) Red & Silver ($8.95) Blue ($10.95) Yellow ($12.95) Pink ($14.95) Lavender ($16.95). Special ones cost more.
Cast Members with green lanyards may only trade with kids ages 3 to 12. You can trade up to two pins per day with any trading Cast Member.
You don’t have to trade your pins, you can just collect them.
You can only trade real Disney pins, and they all bear a copyright notice on the back.
Don’t buy nice pins to trade, buy lots of pins on eBay from a reputable seller.
