Signature Munchy – Cajun Apple Cupcake-in-a-Jar: Would you like some cupcake with your frosting? This moist and cinnamon-loaded sweet cake is simply smothered in sweet, creamy frosting.
I wouldn’t have known it was a cupcake without reading the description. It was like a trifle built with moist cake and frosting.
The frosting swirl was reminiscent of a cupcake. I liked that it came with a spoon, so you could dig right in!
Sugar Bowl Bakery Madeleine: This is a middle-of-the-road madeleine. The texture was a little coarse, but it was tender with some crust on the outside.
Dave’s Choc. Chip Muffin: Sort of like a food service muffin. Very dense and moist, but no extraordinary flavor.
Poore Brothers Kettle Cooked Potato Crisps – Olde English Salt & Vinegar and Original: Arizona’s Favorite Potato Chips! The original are pleasantly light on the salt, and the salt & vinegar had great flavor. Both were nice and crunchy.
Kettle Heroes Pumpkin Pie Kettle Corn: Sweet and nicely flavored with pumpkin and cinnamon. Brandy loved this!
Udder Delights Coconut Pecan Macaroons: My favorite, and possibly the best macaroons I’ve ever had. They have very few ingredients, but the proportions must be just right (I think the secret must be in the coconut they use). Super moist and studded with big pecan pieces. Yum!
We will note that Monthly Munchy offered completely free boxes to about the first 100 subscribers, and this is one of those boxes. This was impressive for a free box, and we’ll definitely continue to see what’s in next month’s box!
