Birchbox is a beauty sampling subscription box. You’ll get at least 5 items every month (I often get more – like this month!) to try out and see what you love. Birchbox is $10 a month, plus you accumulate points after reviewing the items in your box! You’ll get 10 points per item reviewed, and 100 points are equal to $10 in the shop.

Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil ($0.78) This is a super lightweight hair oil, and I tried it a few months ago in another box. I like it – and it’s even suitable for my fine hair!
Harvey Prince Hello Body Cream ($0.92) I think this sunny happy fragrance is great for summer, but this sample will go quickly!
Supergoop! Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 ($8.4) It’s hard to believe this tiny sample is 20% of a full-size! A little goes a really long way with this serum, and although it’s a serum, it seems to have a mattifying effect on my skin – which means it’s great for under makeup!
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive ($5.07) This is a nice gentle peel, but effective! It uses fruit-derived hydroxy acids for the skin rejuvenation, and I think it’s a good sample size for this pricey product!
stila look at me liquid lipstick ($11) Such a pretty, matte lipstick. The color I received in this box is “beso” but I also included a swatch of the shade from my other Birchbox!
I enjoyed this box – but the value ($26) was abysmal in comparison with my other box – which had a whopping $53 in items (exclusive of the upgrade items!). I honestly don’t know how they can send out a box that is literally half the value of another one! I can’t complain too much because I still think overall Birchbox is an excellent value with the points system (they are the one program I always do my rewards points on!) but I wished that I’d received larger samples for sure.
