I received the fragrance for those who like their candles to smell like citrus. I also received a sunglasses case for the bonus item! Each month the candle comes in a drawstring bag. The prints and colors change each time. They can be reused to hold jewelry, gifts, and so on.
Oasis Candle Studio Co. Summer Market ($35 for a 13 ounce version) As soon as I smelled this candle I recognized the scent — it, and a lot of candles actually, smelled just like the Volcano scent from Blue Capri, a very popular candle and fragrance. It’s sweet and citrusy, and it says it has notes of greenery and sweet grapefruit. This is the perfect candle for summer, and this one smelled great both while cold and when burning, and the hot throw wasn’t too shabby, I could smell it but it wasn’t so strong as to upset my senses. This size is supposed to burn for up to 80 hours and I couldn’t be happier, this was a stunning candle.
Sunglasses Case Our bonus item for the month is a rain grey suede-like case for glasses. The inside is lined with soft fabric to keep sunnies or other glasses safe and scratch-free. A fitting inclusion for any time of year but especially appreciated now since I can never seem to find my sunglasses in the maw that is my purse.
This was yet another stunning candle from Vellabox and new-to-me Oasis Studio Candle Co! Sure, the scent has been done before but it’s popular for a reason and this brand really made a candle that has good scent throw. I would feel confidant ordering from this brand in the future, they clearly know their stuff. I also was pleased with my new glasses case, something I didn’t know I needed until it arrived. I even like the color and the finish, and “Vellabox” in embossed into the fabric near the bottom and not printed across the front, way to keep it classy Vellabox!
