The May 2023 nmnl box was themed Angelic Wink – a fantastic treat for all beauty enthusiasts, as it was packed with everything we need to effortlessly create a stunning eye look. Aside from high-quality cosmetics, it also included nourishing skincare essentials, catering to all our beauty needs. Lit.Lit.Lit. False Eyelashes. A set of three lashes (all the same) to add drama and style to your eye look!
Skin Care Sheet Pack. Point packs are smaller sheet masks you can use for targeted moisture, such as on your cheeks, chin, even knees and elbows! These are an adorable peach design with peach fragrance.
Rose Sheet Mask. I love rose as an ingredient due to its incredibly hydrating properties. Nature Republic masks are high quality and the fit is good.
I’m MEME Stick Shadow Shimmer. A golden eyeshadow in a convenient stick format. Just twist the bottom to expose more of the pigment when it’s running low.
Milico Eye Pencil. An eyebrow pencil with a pointed tip for precision brow styling. The shade “Almond Latte” is a taupey shade but for me it was too warm. It is always tricky with products like this as there’s no universal shade!
Milico Eye Shadow. Also by Milco is a brown gold eyeshadow. Also too warm for me but this brand is always solid in terms of quality so it’s a great inclusion in this month’s box!
Kirei Factory Angel Mascara. A tinted mascara that can be used for brows and lashes.
Swatch of the eyeshadow stick. It’s quite pigmented!
Yacyure Foaming Acne Wash. A gentle cleansing foam for acne-prone skin. It’s important that your cleanser doesn’t strip the natural oils from your skin, while removing excess sebum to improve the look of your pores.
This month’s nmnl box included everything we need for a great spring look, with an emphasis on eye products! I think there was a nice mix of items, and I was pleased to see brands I recognized like Kirei Factory and Nature Republic. The assortment promises to enhance our beauty routines and ensure we have everything we need to embrace the season with confidence.
nmnl (nomakenolife) is a monthly beauty subscription box by the brains behind Tokyo Treat and Yume Twins. Each box has 8-9 Japanese and Korean beauty items, which may include skincare, makeup, hair care, bath & body items, and beauty tools. The subscription is $35 per month, but it can go lower if you subscribe to a longer subscription plan. It’s $33.5 per month on a 3-month prepaid plan, $32 per month on a 6-month prepaid plan, and $31.5 on a 12-month prepaid plan. Shipping is $12.50 to the US, and is about the same for other countries.
