For this year, they have a Sockventures theme, which aims to bring you to different parts of the world through their socks. This month’s featured place is England and they have chosen the Yeomen Warders to represent it.
This month’s socks are designed in the USA and produced in China. They’re both made with 70% cotton, 25% polyester, and 5% spandex.
The other side of the info card provides us with some helpful facts about the featured country. It’s interesting to know that the official term for beefeaters is “Yeomen Warders” and that it is founded by Henry VII in 1485. Another fun fact is that the palace currently employs 37 beefeaters and every night, these beefeaters perform the ceremony of the keys where they put away the queen’s key safely.
The top of the carton features a tagline, “Keep calm and put these socks on.”
Here’s the first pair! They are ankle-high cut socks with striking stripes in colors that represent Yeomen Warders: black, blue, white, and red.
The different stripe sizes make these socks look unique. They’re also soft and thick enough fabric to provide cushion and warmth to the feet.
Here’s the second pair of socks! They’re also ankle-high, with a blue base color and reinforced red cuffs, heels, and toes.
There are cute little beefeaters all over the socks! How adorable! Just like the first pair, this is also comfortable to wear.
The socks also have text on the soles that say, “Guard Save the Queen”!
Say It With A Sock definitely rocks! My kids always look forward to their high-quality and trendy socks, and this month’s pairs didn’t disappoint. Both of the socks are inspired by Beefeaters, and my kids find them really cool. As always, the socks are made with high-quality materials that make each pair extra soft and comfortable to wear. Based on past socks we’ve received, these socks are durable and they don’t slip down easily even after a few washes. If you’re looking for cute socks for kids, this is definitely one of the best sock subscriptions out there!
