California Found is an awesome monthly subscription box that delivers the best of The Golden State, directly to your mailbox! Each box is $49, but has a value of $90+! Shipping is available worldwide. What will you find in your box?

California Found is a discovery box of beautifully crafted California artisan products delivered right to your door. Every month, you’ll receive a collection of thoughtful, local, small-batch items that may include gourmet, spa & beauty, home goods, jewelry, stationery and more. The contents change monthly, and are delivered boxed and ready for giving.

I love opening this box, it always looks so well put together! My items were wrapped in tissue paper that was sealed with a sticker and the items were cushioned in shredded paper.

Some of the items had additional packaging to keep them safe during transit.

I found a set of cards – one with an introduction to the current box, and one for each of the vendors featured in this month’s box. California Found is now part of 1% For The Planet, which means they donate at least 1% of their gross revenue to this charity that works to promote a healthier planet.

Oh this looks so good!

Everything in my November 2019 California Found box!

Robyn Rhodes Ronnie Ring in Silver ($45) came in its own pouch.

An additional card listed some facts about the designer.

The ring is adjustable and has a brass base with a sterling silver finish. The bars are uneven for a modern look.

I am plus sized so the bar didn’t look that great on me but I know it will look good on one of my daughters!

In Succulent Love DIY Jellyfish Ornament ($23) I couldn’t find a way to purchase this ornament by itself but I did find a DIY class in San Diego where you could make three of these for $29, so $23 for one seems high.

Instructions were inside the little kit.

Basically you wrap fishing line around an air plant and then affix it to the sea urchin shell and then mist it once a week. I’m going to have one of my kids get to work assembling this for me.

Bella Mia Mama Scarf ($25) I received the color Honey (a warm blond) but some subscribers will receive this item in the shade Chocolate.

We received a similar item, but in a different color, back in January. I actually wore my other scarf to high school football games this fall.

The minky fabric is very soft and it’s hard not to just sit and pet it while wearing it! The scarf is 60″ long.

Cali Vibes Travel Candle in Mistletoe ($18) I love to discover a good candle in a subscription box and this one is amazing!

It is made with soy wax, essential oils, and phthalate-free fragrance oil and has notes of pine, cedar, and red berries. It smells like a Christmas tree and the scent carries over while burning but not in a super strong way, it is just right.

Lenus Handcrafted Vitamin Beauty Balm ($24) Balms are almost a necessity this time of year and can be applied on all of those spots that need extra attention thanks to those cooler temperatures.

Shea butter is the first ingredient so you know it’s going to be emollient. All kinds of plant extracts are added and provide a lot of different benefits, such as antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and skin soothing properties.

My only complaint is that I wish the jar was wider as it’s hard to stick a finger in here to get product out. A small spatula might be helpful too. The scent is light and warm, and smells almost edible, and it left my skin feeling soft. You can use this on the face (I know I will have chapped cheeks at some point) and it can be used as a cleansing balm, but I plan on using it on my cuticles and elbows because they need the extra attention and I like all of those amazing sounding ingredients.

California Found has me ready for fall with a wonderful balm and a soft, fuzzy scarf. The candle is perfect for the season and the ring and ornament rounded out the box nicely. You can purchase a one-time box on the California Found website in case you are looking for a gift for someone special. The value for the November box was around $135!
