Here’s the full announcement:

YOUR ACCOUNT INFO

Hey, Looters!

In case you hadn’t heard, Loot Crate is now under new ownership and has a new name: The Loot Company.

The new owner is a sister company of NECA (the company that owns Kidrobot and WizKids). NECA’s all about limited edition collectibles, so they totally get our business and our community. Going forward, you can expect better exclusives and greater experiences delivered to your door on time!

Here’s what you need to know: With the change in ownership, you have the right to opt-out of allowing The Loot Company to use the personal information you provided to Loot Crate (name, email, address). Opting-out means your personal information will be permanently deleted and not used by The Loot Company.

We’ve got a lot of cool new offerings and exciting experiences coming soon that we’d love to tell you about, but we totally respect your right to privacy so the decision is yours. If you decide to opt-out, you may do so by one of the following methods:

1. Sending an e-mail to The Loot Company at optoutinfotransfer@lootcrate.com with the information necessary for The Loot Company to identify you in its database and process your opt-out election (such as your name and email address); or

2. Mailing to the following address (and including the information necessary for The Loot Company to identify you in its database and process your opt-out election, such as your name and email address):

The Loot Company
c/o Cooley LLP
Attn: Cathy Hershcopf and Sarah Carnes
55 Hudson Yards
New York, New York 10001

Your request to opt-out must be received no later than October 21, 2019.
We Love You,
The Loot Team

Here’s our current policy on Loot Crate spoilers, reviews, and shipping delays:

NOTE: All of Loot Crate subscription boxes are experiencing substantial delays. If you subscribe now you run the risk of never receiving boxes. Only subscribe if you are ok with that risk.

  • We will continue to post reviews of any boxes that do arrive.
  • We will continue to post spoilers and other notifications of Loot Crate activity. This helps to preserve our workflow and creates a record. They will not appear on the front page of Hello Subscription.
