The items were packed in white paper squiggles. I think Petit Vour does a great job at presenting a pretty box.
Petit Vour sends a lovely product information card.
The inside of the card listed each item, some info about the item, and the value.
The back of the card gave info on how to earn reward points, plus if you share a photo of your box on social media your picture may be featured!
Everything in my box!
Moon Rivers Naturals Peppermint Lava Hand + Body Soap ($4.50) I love the scent of peppermint and Petit Vour indulged me this month by sending two peppermint scented products!
I think it is similar to castille soap, which is made with saponified vegetable oils. The full sized bottle comes with a pump, which is ideal because otherwise you are dealing with dirty hands and a glass bottle. I used this in my shower and while it smelled very minty, it also left a bit of a residue on my skin, which pretty much happens every time I use a soap similar in makeup to this one. I would love to try more products from this company, I like their sense of humor!
The Seaweed Bath Co. Firming Detox Cream ($2.37) Pepperminty product #2 is a detoxifying body lotion that again, smells amazing!
I’m not going to get into the debate about cellulite and its treatment but I will say that I enjoyed the feel of this lotion on my skin, which absorbed it quickly.
Jane Iredale The Skin Care MakeUp LipDrink Lip Balm in Crush ($17) I am all about sunscreen and this is perfect for my lips all year long!
It has titanium dioxide, a mineral that reflects the sun’s rays, and it is reef safe.
The shade Crush is described as sheer berry and it looks almost the same as my lip color, but somehow makes my lips look more polished. It tastes like lemon!
Lauren B. Beauty Nail Growth Serum ($75) I had to do a double take on the value for this item. It has paid for not only this box but for several more of my future boxes!
It has a lot of ingredients, some that I recognize and some that I can’t pronounce.
Apply once or twice a day. I’ve been putting this on my cuticles but I guess it is meant for my actual nails. It has a very fine applicator brush, while something a little closer to a nail polish brush would work better for applying.
Always an interesting assortment of items in my monthly Petit Vour Beauty Box! I love peppermint so just the scent alone of two of the products was enough to send me to my happy place. The serum is really pricey so what a surprise to receive it in the box! The lip balm is also really cool and I like the formula, color, and flavor. My September box had a value of around $98.87!
What did you think of the September Petit Vour? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this box in the comments!
