Julep When Pencil Met Gel Waterproof Long-lasting Eyeliner in Smoky Taupe Shimmer ($16) It’s a gel formula waterproof eyeliner pencil that provides 10+ hours of wear. The collection has the matte and shimmer shades. I’m glad they gave me this kind as I don’t usually buy shimmery eyeliners.
After you glide it easily along the lash line you can let it set for 30 seconds first to avoid smudging. If you want the smudged effect, do it before the gel formula sets. You can create a good winged eye look without pulling the skin.
Julep Ultra Hydrating Lipgloss in Bestie ($19) The gloss sure is shiny on the lips but does not feel tacky or gummy. It is rich with hyaluronic filling spheres that deeply hydrate and plump the lips. I love the shiny and sheer to medium color pay off.
It has a unique doe foot applicator and can provide coverage and glide easily on lips. The tint in the gloss makes it okay to wear it alone or put on top of your fave lipstick.
Julep Nail Lacquer in Sabina ($14) This shimmery fast-drying but long lasting nail polish is powered by the Oxygen Technology that makes the nails healthy while making them look beautiful at the same time. The formula is 5-free and the vegan-friendly that includes strengthening and an antioxidant dose of green coffee extract. It will not make your nails turn yellow or brittle from use.
This box was late, and as I mentioned in my previous review, I’m unsure what’s happening with Julep right now, except that they’ve been sold and laid off over 100 employees. They’re not accepting new subscribers and they didn’t even post a new February collection. I reached out to Julep with disappointing results:
