Menlo Club, formerly Five Four Club, is a men’s clothing monthly subscription club – sign up, pick a style profile and your sizes, and get clothes every month. The subscription is a $60 flat monthly fee, and traditionally subscribers receive a variable number of items each month, depending on the value of the month’s selections (months with several items usually include a tee-shirt or other lower value item). A calendar of Menlo Club’s offerings per month. The Menlo Club subscriptions will include Five Four clothing, shoes from the New Republic footwear line made in collaboration with Mark McNairy, and the Grand AC athletic and leisure wear line. New Republic and Grand AC items each will be featured two months of the year, with Five Four selections appearing in the remaining eight months. Read all about the changes here.
Grady Belt. The two-toned belt looks snazzy in black and gray. It has a silver buckle and its ends are wrapped in leather to prevent fraying.
This belt works well on shorts and jeans. It is thick enough, plus the stainless steel buckle makes it easy to wear. It’s stretchy too, so there’s no worrying about belt notches or your pants falling off!
FiveFour Halstead Short Sleeve Shirt. Ideal for casual or semi-formal occasions, this collared short-sleeved polo shirt has buttons on the front and a pocket on the left chest. It can be paired with jeans or slacks. In the summer, it will also look great with a nice pair of chino shorts.
This shirt has a small blue checkered design which you’ll only notice when you look at it closer.
The Five Four logo is located at the bottom of the shirt. It’s comfortable to wear plus the short sleeves make it easier for me to move my arms around.
The collar is crisp and has a button on each lapel. The white buttons blend nicely with the overall design of the shirt. This is perfect for guys who want to look their best without going drastic with their shirt choices.
You will also see another button at the back of the collar which I think prevents the back collar from rising. There is also a strap at the shoulder blade area so you can hook the shirt on the back of your door to air it out after using. This is a nice shirt to wear when the weather is a bit warm so you will feel cool and comfy too.
Picard Modern Fit Short. Guys who love to wear shorts will find this modern fit short from Picard a great addition to their wardrobe. It’s the perfect casual attire to wear when you want to look and feel cool especially when the weather is a bit warm. You don’t have to compromise your sense of fashion when wearing shorts because this one will make you look every inch the gentleman. Or at least Catalina Wine Mixer guy.
The back of the shorts have a zippered pocket so you can slip some personal items at the back without worrying about it falling off when you sit down. This is a smart idea and I love the fact that the zipper is in blue too so it’s not easy to spot.
This short has a drawstring waist to keep it snug at your waist plus a button and a zipper. It also comes with pockets on the front part and they have a blue zipper too. The stitching is well done too.
What’s great about this blue polka dot shorts is that you can pair it with any top that you have on hand. You can wear it with sandals, sneakers, or rubber shoes if you like. It won’t be difficult to integrate this short into my wardrobe!

Menlo Club really knows how to dress up a guy stylishly, comfortably, and most importantly according to the season. I appreciate that they put together a complete ensemble for me this month. Paired with the white sneakers I got from last month’s box, I’m definitely ready for summer! Still, the pieces are versatile enough even if I decide to wear them with another clothing item. This subscription is a great way of expanding my wardrobe and it’s just really convenient not having to go to the mall to shop!
