With music pulsing on every page, A Visit from the Goon Squad is a startling, exhilarating novel of self-destruction and redemption.
This novel is told in the stories of 13 different people, and every single one of them is connected.
It involves the music industry, with the record executive Bennie and his assistant Sasha as the main characters. The rest of the characters seemed odd yet interesting.
The writer is clever and creative. In fact, one of the stories was told through charts that seemed like PowerPoint presentations.
