Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and are customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.

This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!

DEAL: You can get a $10 credit to the Barkshop with your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

The theme of this month’s box was THE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE! BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme.

This month’s custom paper comes in a medieval design composed of knights, horses and dragons!

There’s a castle too! I absolutely adore the tapestry inspired design!

At the back is a fill in the blanks story – create an epic tale starring your valiant dog!

The hero knight pup needs to save the princess!

The information card features an illustration of this month’s plush toys. The box contains one of the premium toys (selected at random), but you can get any of them in the online shop.

Here are this month’s cute dog items!

Paper crown. First item is a paper crown for your beloved furbaby. Just pop it out then connect both ends of the crown using the hook and slot.

Voila, an instant crown! Barkbox encourages subscribers to share a photo of their dog wearing this crown with #KingArfur on social media!

Here’s Dean, enjoying the crown! Since it’s made of paper, it can be easily destroyed by pups, but it’s still a fun prop for a photo op!

Fur-Haired Maiden Dog Plushie ($) Next up is a plushie wearing a pink dress, a pink hat, and a pair of blue shoes.

It’s soft and squishy, but the best thing about it is the giggly sound it produces when you shake it.

It actually looks like a gnome, don’t you think? Anyway, Dean had fun playing fetch with this toy!

Grimbold The Dragon Dog Plushie ($8) Here’s the villain, but it’s not scary at all. The plushie looks so cute with those dragon wings!

It has classic squeakers in the head and body, plus crinkle in the wings!

The dragon’s horns are made of nylon. Dean spent hours and hours with this toy, he really seemed to enjoy the sound it makes!

On to the chews!

Deer Recipe Chews ($3.17) This chewy dog treat is made of deer meat and without artificial fillers, coloring, or preservatives. It may be tough to chew but it’s pretty easy to digest. It kept Dean busy for quite a while, and I was just happy that the treat didn’t leave stains on our floor!

Yes, your royal hair-ness? I think he’s ready for his meal!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Chicken Dog Snacks ($10) This pack of wheat-free and corn-free chicken treats definitely lived up to its name!

Our pups loved every bite and asked for more, so these surely are winners.

These are made of all-natural ingredients, including potato flour and cane molasses, so we don’t feel guilty about letting the pups enjoy their treat.

Lady Quackelene’s Garden Duck And Berry Dog Snacks ($8) These bite-sized dog treats are great whether as a reward or as a light snack.

It’s a yummy combination of duck, berries, and beets! There’s also cranberries, apple, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries and my older dog Lindy was just crazy over these.

We love these packs of treats from BarkBox because they come in resealable containers and they’re great for sharing with other dogs too.

The princely Dean is now taking a rest after defeating the pup dragon and taking a hearty snack!

Hear ye, hear ye! We love the theme of this month’s BarkBox! The treats made our pups satisfied, while the plushies provided tons of fun. The box is always well-thought of and the themes they come up with, as well as the item names, are just so creative. You can even customize the subscription to your dog’s size so you’re sure to get the toys and treats that really suit your beloved furbaby!
