The polishes featured are all from LiveGlam’s own line called Laura G.

Laura G polishes are listed as $12 USD online each. These polishes are not being released and are exclusive to the subscription, but I am using the standard values.

This month’s box included two polishes and a top coat!

Matte Top Coat: Applying this top coat protects the polish with a sleek matte finish.

Bowtie: A baby blue.

Tutu: A baby pink.

My pinkie and ring finger have the matte polish, my middle and index have no topcoat. You can see the duller finish with the matte topcoat. I did not like the finish of the two coloured polishes — they are streaky and show every brush stroke. This is three coats and I’m still unhappy with the coverage. I love the colours, but the finish absolutely kills the enjoyment of using the polish.

I was hoping that last month’s issues with polish quality were a one-off but sadly this month I was again disappointed. I will use the matte topcoat but the colours are really difficult to work with directly on the nail. I will probably try using them for gradients and nail art.

Who in the world is Laura G and who actually makes the nail polish they send out?

    • Valerie

      Hi Danielle,

I mention in every review that Laura G is LiveGlam’s in-house line – similar to how Julep produces their own polishes, LiveGlam does under the name Laura G. They also have a brush club (MorphMe) and a lipstick club (kissMe) under those brands as well.

Sorry! I must have missed that. My apologies!

Thank you for the info. I’m just used to certain polish brands/companies so I was like who’s that????

        Thanks again!
