Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

DEAL: Save 15% on any subscription when you use this link and coupon code HELLOSUBSCRIPTION15.

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet with information about Loot Crate’s community features on the back. Check out the theme experience hub here.

The theme this month – GUARDIANS!

The items in the box this month are for “those that answer the call to stand up and protect others, to do what’s right, not just what’s easy.”

The information card gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.

All the Loot Crate DX goodies this month!

FYI – This box shipped a little late, but I’m also about a week and a half behind on reviewing it!

Destiny Ghost Pin: I think the Destiny items were the hottest items out of all of the May Loot Crate! This one is the first ghost you can activate in Destiny!

Wonder Woman DC Bombshells Figure

This is an exclusive metallic variant of this figure from the highly popular DC Bombshells line – and I think the first Wonder Woman item I’ve seen (FINALLY!).

She looks great and my whole family is fighting over who gets to claim this one.

This figure is going for about $49 on Amazon – the regular version for about $40.

Great details and paint job!

Destiny T-Shirt The black on charcoal design for this shirt is super slick!

Post proelia praemia – After the battles come the rewards – great banner design!

Plus the back has the Destiny logo.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Star Lord Q-Fig Max Figure

This figure is marked as a timed exclusive – which means DX subscribers get it before anyone else! The other Q-Fig Max figure they’ve done went for $49.95 (loved that one too!). I think this one is more on the $30-$35 range.

Stylized, but with more realistic details than Funko Pops, this one shows Peter Quill in his vol. 2 outfit.

Great jet pack action!

The Complete Marvel Cosmos Travel Guide ($12.26)

For my husband, this book made this box absolutely perfect (he loves all the books that come in geek boxes!).

I haven’t seen this book since we got it, he’s enamored. It’s packed full of factoids and tidbits about the entire Marvel Cosmos!

The ultimate guidebook to Earth, the Nine Realms, and other dimensions from Marvel Comics, as told by Peter Quill, Rocket, Groot, and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Ever since Super Heroes like Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy started stomping around planet Earth, we’ve had to open our horizons a little and embrace the wider reaches of space. If you’re thinking of journeying to one of the many new realms for a little R’n’R, then don’t leave home without Hidden Universe’s guide to the cosmos. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the divine splendor of Asgard or soak up the multicultural atmosphere of intergalactic waypoint Knowhere, this is the book for you. It even provides some tips on surviving excursions to Planet Moord and Chitauri Prime, if you like your vacations to be on the extreme side.

This box was a big win for us! If you’re a comic franchise fan it was really hard not to be in love with this box with two excellent statues.  I’m also really in love with the shirt, which I think is understated and super soft, and my husband couldn’t be happier with that book!
