The GlobeIn Artisan Gift Box is a subscription that sends 4-5 handcrafted products from around the world. All items are produced either by collectives that are fair trade certified or that respect and adhere to fair trade principles. All artisans and farmers whose products are distributed by Globe In are paid a fair wage for their products.

Subscriptions cost $40 per month, but the price can go as low as $35 with a longer subscription. For those who would prefer to receive one handmade product each month, GlobeIn also operates the GlobeIn Club which costs $10 each month.

GlobeIn is committed to empowering artisans around the world. With each shipment, you’ll get to learn about the artisans and communities your purchase has helped to support.

DEAL: Save $10 on a 3-month subscription with coupon code WELCOME.

The theme for this box is Epicure. Artisan Box subscribers have a selection of themes from which to choose. This way, artisans will be able to meet GlobeIn’s needs while also having longer, steady work as they continue to produce items for the Artisan Box.

Along with all of the lovely items in the box, the Artisan Box includes a booklet that gives details about each of the artists responsible for the items in the box.

Everything in the Epicure box!

GlobeIn Greeting Card ($3) Starting off right! This blank flat card will be perfect for a wine-night invite!

GlobeIn also included an advertisement for ONEHOPE Wine.

Mouse Cheese Knife – India ($10) This knife is SO cute and will match perfectly with my vintage glass mouse cheese tray (which I’ve just discovered is quite the collector’s item). I love the little swirling tail! This is darling without being over the top.

The knife was made in India by Dilshad Hussain’s shop of stainless steel artisans. They trade exclusively through fair trade collective Noah’s Ark, which provides hundreds of artisans and their families with education, healthcare, clean water, and professional development.

Neem Wood Cheese Board – India ($15)

This board was crafted by a family of woodcarvers in West Bengal. Regular work provides education and jobs for multiple artisans.

The included cheese board is about 10″ long and will fit a nice hunk of cheese, along with the knife!

Stemless Wine Glasses – Mexico ($30)

This brightly colored stemless glasses are hand blown in Cristaluc, Mexico.

They’re quite thick and sturdy!

So pretty!

Mini Handwoven Basket – Mexico ($10) This sweet little mini basket is smaller than the other GlobeIn baskets. I think it would be great to store serving picks in!

This mini basket is about 4″ across and handmade in Oaxaca.

This box was excellent for the entertainer! The retail was about $68, which is an excellent value for a fair trade subscription. I can’t get over the cheese knife, and everything else is useful and classy!
