SnackFever is a monthly subscription box that delivers all your favorite Korean snacks, as well as other hard-to-find Korean treats. Each month, subscribers will get 5 to 12 Korean snacks and treats, depending on their subscription. Snack Fever is available in three boxes, the mini box, the original box, and the deluxe box, and subscriptions are $12, $20, and $40, respectively, every month. Going forward, the Snack Fever boxes will be themed. Happy Thanksgiving! For November, let’s give thanks to some of our favorite K-food snack hacks.

DEAL: Save 10% on your first original box with coupon code NEWSF10.

Mandoo (the Jindo) is so ready for the holidays… He’s even dreaming about them.

Between holiday preparations, SnackFever has provided another snack hack this month – crunchy corn soup. Our word of the month is 눈 사람 (noon sah-rahm), snowman.

There was also some information from Eggbun on learning Korean. This month’s words are English based (no Korean equivalent). Download the app and get your Korean on.

SnackFever‘s December Deluxe box!

I’m only showing information on the Deluxe box, but the brochure does include the contents of the mini and original boxes. (Brandy covers the Original box review.)  Click here to see all of our SnackFever reviews.

Haitai | Water Jelly – Peach: This is a sweet jelly treat with lots of peach flavor. Just squeeze out of the pouch to enjoy. Candies like this were not a favorite of mine growing up, and this did not change my opinion. I think it’s more a textural thing. I don’t really know how to describe this; kind of like slightly melted Jello-O (?). I think this is one of those love or hate snacks.

Crown | My Chew – Peach: This is a soft fruit chew. They are similar to the Japanese candy Hi-Chew or American Starburst. Subscribers received one of four flavors (apple, grape, strawberry, or peach).

Lotte | Mini Crunky Double Crunch Bar: This is a double crunch because there’s a malt center covered with a thin wafer that is enrobed in chocolate with malt pieces. Did you get all that? If not, don’t worry. Just know it tastes good, like a crunky Whopper. Crunky has some interesting commercials, and I just had to share one.

Lotte | ABC Chocolate: An educational and fun chocolate treat! These are individually wrapped letters and numbers. They reminded me of Scrabble tiles.

Another look at the ABC Chocolate.

Haitai | Ace Cracker: I should have known better than to assume that these were a sweet biscuit. It was the cup of coffee/tea on the package that threw me off. These are actually a tasty butter cracker similar to Ritz or Townhouse but without the salted top.

O•taste | Amazing Cup Rice – Bulgogi: I love these instant rice cups! They make great quick meals for when you’re short on time or just being a bit of a slacker. ? I’ve had the thistle rice and bibimbap varieties already. This one is bulgogi flavored. I just picked up some kimchi and will add that to make a complete meal.

Ottogi | Jin Ramen – Mild: Classic Jin Ramen (pronounced ramyun) is very spicy. This mild version allows those who are not fans of the heat to be able to enjoy these noodles. Like most Korean noodles, this comes with a packet of dehydrated vegetables and a separate spice packet.

Crown | Corn Chips: These are not the same as American corn chips, which tend to be associated with tortilla chips or Fritos. These are lighter with a slightly sweet, but strong, corn taste. The snack hack suggested pairing this with the cream corn soup (see below). If I can manage not to eat the whole bag in one sitting, I’ll try the hack.

HB | Chicken Macho – Choco Macchia: Chicken Macho are flavored corn puff balls frequently featured in Snack Fever. Generally, these are savory flavors such as wasabi or teriyaki, so I was happy to see a sweet (AND CHOCOLATE) version. These reminded me of the crunchy part of a chocolate muffin top. Very yummy!

Haitai | Homerun Ball – Cream Cheese: I ate the whole package, minus 4 that the dogs shared, in one sitting! This is a choux pastry filled with sweetened cream cheese. Basically, they’re mini cream puffs. They were absolutely a home run in my book. ?

Here’s a close up of these little puff balls.

Lotte | Jeju Mandarin Drink: This drink is made with juice from mandarin oranges grown on Jeju Island. FYI, this is only 50% juice, but you’d never know. It is slightly sweeter than traditional orange juice. The top of the label translates to “Jeju Mandarin Love Love”, and I do love it.

Seoul Milk | Banana Milk: Every Korean child knows banana milk. It’s a sugar-sweetened milk with banana concentrate/flavor in it. Although this is not the brand I grew up with, it still took me back to my childhood. Wonder when I outgrew this. Hmm…

Ottogi | Cream Corn Cup Soup: Another instant meal, this creamy corn soup is perfect for winter. The package contains 3 servings. As a fan of creamed corn, I can’t wait for the cooler weather to hit Florida so that I can make a bowl.

Mammos Friend | Green Tea Candy: This is listed on my info sheet, but I think it was a mistake. I did not receive any of these candies, but they were part of the Mini and Original boxes.

This month’s Snack Fever was one of my favorite boxes yet. I feel like I rave over this subscription every month, but it truly deserves it. My family and I go through the snacks so quickly its crazy. I love that I get a mix of classic foods and some new-to-me finds (which I have purchased during my trips to the Korean market). The Homerun Balls were my personal favorite this month. What was yours?

Have you tried Snack Fever?
