Bespoke Post is a great way to indulge yourself with high-quality lifestyle enhancements. Bespoke Post is a men’s lifestyle subscription box offering sophisticated accessories, gear, and curated interest kits. The monthly limited-edition boxes are built around a central, unique theme, and there are usually two or three new boxes to choose from every month. You can also skip the month if you’re not interested in any of the available boxes.

This month’s theme is BRUT.

DEAL: Save $9 on your first box with coupon code FREEBEER.

The front side of the card introduces the items included in this curation, providing product info and insight on why the items were chosen in the context of the current theme. BRUT pairs a stylish Champagne sabre elegant stemware for the ultimate uncorking.

The reverse side of the card always has the beginning of a useful article on some point of mastery related to the curation.  Often the article continues on the Bespoke site – having a little advice on proper usage was important enough to this curation that they made sure all the pertinent info was included on the card itself.

Everything in the Bespoke Post BRUT Box. You have to supply the bubbly.

Lamami Italian Small Saber: This 6″ sabre packs the heft necessary to lop off the top of a pressurized bottle, but it is light enough to be handled with the ease of a kitchen knife. It has full tang, riveted construction with an elegant wooden handle.

The blade is tapered and polished for a glowing finish. The edge is blunt – it doesn’t need to be sharp to properly sabre and it is safer to handle this way. The single piece of steel forming the blade also has a hand guard built right in.

Rastal Sparkling Wine Glasses: These lovely glasses provide the ideal serving vessel for sparkling wine.

The glasses feature the classic tulip shape that helps accentuate the flavor and nose of Champagne while preserving the carbonation. They are approved for dishwasher cleaning, but I will opt to wash by hand since they are very thin near the rim.

The sabre handed exceptionally well, and its small size makes it easy to use and store. I was actually a bit surprised at how easy it was to open the bottle – a very gentle motion was all that was required. I used some inexpensive sparkling wine for the demo, just in case something went horribly wrong.

Almost no wine was spilt during the opening, and the wine in the bottle didn’t foam violently after opening. I think this technique disrupted the suspended carbonation less than uncorking the bottle manually. The glasses are quite beautiful. They are very light and comfortable to hold, and the bubbly tasted just fine when sipped from them!

This was a great set for me to get. I didn’t have proper champagne glasses, and these are beautifully made. The sabre was so easy to use (and conveniently sized), that I can see myself using it whenever we drink sparkling wine.
