Treatsie is an artisan sweets sampler box. Each box includes amazing gourmet sweets from 3 – 4 small, independent confectioners, which change every month. Items you may receive include candies, chocolates, cookies, and other sugary delights!
DEAL: Treatsie’s gift deals are back (up to 3 free months!). Or if you want to try out one box there are two ways to save – get $10 off with FBSAVE10 or free double the sweets with coupon DOUBLESWEETS
TIP: Without a good deal on this box you are effectively paying $4-5 per treat, so we do recommend subscribing for a longer term for the best (yummy) value!
The information card gives brief details on each item. This box shipped really late – I received it on the last day of the month. They have had some warehouse issues but they seem to be recovering.
Morning Glory Confections Fleur De Sel & Peanut Brittle ($4.99)
Yum! This buttery crisp peanut brittle has Le Saunier de Camargue French sea salt to set off the sugar, butter, and peanut flavors. This is a classic holiday treat for me – my grandpa always bought a big tub of it for us to share!
Hello Cocoa Venezuela Dark Chocolate ($2.68) 74% Criollo – beans are ethically and sustainably traded
Hello Cocoa Uganda Dark Chocolate ($2.68) 57% Dark Forastero – beans are certified organic
These bars are handmade in Arkansas and highlight single varietal dark chocolates, and the taste sensations are like sipping a red wine. They are a decadent treat!
CC Made Popcorn Seasonal Holiday Popcorn ($5 for 3oz) Subscribers received a variety of flavors – I scored Candy Cane! I was skeptical but the mild candy cane flavor contrasted perfectly with the caramel corn and was absolutely splendid.
Bonus!
J&M Key Lime Cookies ($2.22) These cookies are the best. I love the powdered shortbread style and the flavoring is simply delicious.
This box never has a terribly high value but it’s always a sweet taste discovery, and I thought the December box was particularly well themed around the holidays!
Did you get Treatsie this month? Did you get the same items? What was your favorite?
