Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 4-7 items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skin care. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12 month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark.

Everything in my box! My items were shipped in a brown cardboard box that was slightly mushy from the wet weather we have had lately but everything looked great inside of the box. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single use packets.

There was a product information card that included a coupon code for a shop purchase and info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. It didn’t give usage instructions so if you are unsure how to use an item you may need to do a little research. Or keep reading, cause I did the work for you!

Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes ($5.99) Say hello to your new LBW (Little Black Wipe). These wipes have a pleasant fragrance and contain charcoal powder and tomato extract along with witch hazel and aloe. It is appropriate for oily, combination, or acne prone skin. I had a hard time telling if they removed all of my makeup due to the darkness of the cloths but my daughter was happy to take them off my hands.

derma/e Purifying Daily Detox Scrub ($1.54) Here is another product for oily skin that contains charcoal, seaweed, and green tea for their cleansing and moisturizing effects as well as apricot seed powder for a gentle exfoliation. I enjoyed the cooling sensation that I felt (courtesy of menthol) and my skin was soft afterwards.

Green & Gorgeous Organics Organic Dry Shampoo Powder in Lavender & Bergamot ($7.99) smells lovely and light and is made of natural products such as arrowroot and brown rice powder, baking powder, and clay and absorbs grease on days you want to skip the full wash.

Deco Miami Nail Polish in Café con Leche  ($12.50) Colors may vary. This brand is free of 8 harmful chemicals and the owner designed the bottles to look like little trinkets that would look cute sitting out on your dresser. I received good coverage with one coat and it dried quickly. I love the taupe color since it is a lovely neutral and perfect for fall.

Pacifica Color Quench Lip Tint in Vanilla Hibiscus (or Sugared Fig) ($5) My lip tint had a sweet scent and very light shimmer that left just a trace of shine on my lips and didn’t change the color of the lip stain that I wore underneath. It contains coconut and avocado oils and vitamin E. I swatched it below but it was very hard to see.

Adorn Cosmetics Mineral Loose Illuminiser Sample ($3.82) is from an Australian eco luxe brand that offers products that are high quality and ethically made. This peachy gold powder was a little difficult to use without a sifter but I ended up dipping my mini fan brush in the product, tapped on the edge of the sink, and then applied to my cupid’s bow, cheeks, nose, and forehead but it can also be applied to the eyes or brow bone. It left a soft shimmer but if you really want to glow just apply a bit more or skip tapping the brush before applying.

Swatched from top: Pacifica Color Quench Lip Tint in Vanilla Hibiscus and Adorn Cosmetics Illuminiser.

What a great box this month from Vegan Cuts Beauty! The products were all useful and I discovered some new-to-me brands as well. I feel good knowing that “no bunny was harmed” in the making of these items and I feel like they are all effective and high-quality too. This box had a value of $36.84, which is over the promised value of $30.
