This month’s artist is Vikki Wiercinski, a pattern artist, and we received a card with informations about the artwork and a short interview with the artist.

The back of the card points to the full interview with the artist. I always find it interesting to learn about an artist process to get to his creation.

We received four prints, postcard size. I love them! I love abstract art and dots are my favourite pattern, so it’s a win on three of the four design! The top right one looks like a stadium to me, I’m not sure what to think about it! I would have prefer getting the design in bigger size, it would have been easier for me to find a way to display them properly. I want to put them in different rooms, but they are way too small to work out by thenselves, in my opinion.

The back side reminds me of a postcard, but it is quite busy and not a lot of room to right! And I’m not sure I want to send these print in the mail, I’ll keep them to myself!

I chose two of the prints and set them on a dark background in a simple frame. Any combination would work, but I like this more zen-like colour for my living room. I didn’t have a second frame, but I’ll probably set up the other two on a lighter background and hang it in the same room.
I’m glad to have been introduced to Vikki Wiercinski as she also design some nice looking silk scarves that would be perfect for a Christmas gift!
