Dia & Co is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s like Stitch Fix, but for plus sizes. Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 20% discount.
Everything arrives neatly folded and wrapped in tissue.
The invoice shows the price of each item plus my potential discount if I opt to keep all of the pieces.
Each month, your stylist will include a note with tips on how to wear the pieces or integrate them with your existing wardrobe. This month, I received a new stylist, and I’m a little sad. I felt like my previous stylist, Stacy, was just getting to understand me. Here’s hoping that Ashley B. gets me.
These are the looks that I told my stylist I wear or like via my fashion profile. I made it a point to emphasize that although I work in an office, I spend a lot of my work day outdoors and live in Florida where it is VERY humid, so I need clothes that are climate friendly and easy care. For this box, I requested pieces that I could take with me on my vacation to the Dominican Republic.
Everything in my box!
Emerald – Frankie Dress ($59.00): Ashley suggested this dress be worn as either a bathing suit cover-up or with heels and a clutch. Talk about covering the spectrum. In the picture, this looks black & white. The white is really ivory. I appreciate how lightweight this is – it’s thinner than a T-shirt. Plus, I prefer maxi dresses (I can be lazy with shaving, LOL). I was going to send this back because I felt it was too cleavage revealing, but my sister convinced me to keep it. I’d love to hear what you think after you see me model it.
Junarose – Mable Dress ($59.00): I kind of felt a Minnie Pearl vibe while wearing this dress. I don’t mind floral patterns, but this one reminded me of window treatments. The dress is boxy, and my stylist’s suggestion to add a belt made a huge difference in the look. Maybe in a different pattern or as a solid, I would keep it. On a positive note, I liked the lightness of the rayon and the length of the dress. For those interested, the dress is on sale here.
Kut From the Kloth – Ava Jeans ($98.00): I love these jeans! I’m all about comfort, so the slouchy boyfriend fit is a win. Also, I like darker rinses on jeans, and that’s what these have. The color is called Marvel, I think because it’s marvelous! There is a slight bit of stretch to these, as well, which is nice. I had a hard time justifying the $98 pricepoint and did a lot of research to find these cheaper, but with no luck. Also, this style is actually called Adele, not Ava.
Lysse – Nela Tunic Top ($54.00): On the Lysse site, this top is retailing for $34.30. I will be contacting Dia & Co. for a price match. It is also listed as the Yucca Tunic top. This asymmetrical hem, slub knit top features Lysse’s BackBeautiful lining which provides the right amount of smoothing for all day comfort. It’s like a built-in Spanx. The hem, lining, and front seams all work together for a slimming effect. I thought this was a pretty top, but my sister couldn’t stop raving about it. That means it’s a winner and needs to be in my closet.
Fashion to Figure – Tara Asymmetric Top ($32.90): This was my favorite of the 2 tops I received. I like the bright lime color and think this would look good with white pants . Plus, the polyester is light enough to wear in the scorching heat, and the side slits help keep the top from clinging. I’m not the only one that likes this top either – it is currently sold out on the Fashion to Figure site.
And now for my catwalk moments…
Another Dia & Co. win this month. If the Leanna dress had been another pattern or color, I would have kept the whole box. Definitely happy with the direction that Ashley B. is starting with. Factoring in the price matching for the Lysse pant, my total for this box comes to $154. Not bad for several pieces that can be mixed into my wardrobe easily. So excited to see what next month brings. How do you think this month’s selection fared?

Girl, you’re rocking the maxi dress with or without the jacket! And that asymmetrical top looks fab on you, so I agree with your sister 😛
