The Planner Addict Box May 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Planner Addict Box is a monthly subscription box for planner nerds. The box is filled with planner products you can use for any type of planner. You can expect products from well-known designers such as Heidi Swapp, American Crafts, Amy Tangerine, and some Planner Addict Box exclusives. If you don’t already know, decorating your planner is a “thing.” It’s sort of a cross between journaling, scrapbooking, and of course, keeping your schedule.

When you first open your  box all you will see is tissue paper wrapped around your goodies.  Every month the tissue and squiggles match the theme color of the box. I love this.  The theme for May is Let your Creativity Bloom like Flowers in the Spring.

The information card is different this month. Previously they have listed out the products in the box but this month they are directing us to the website. I’m not sure how I feel about this yet. I don’t think it bothers me but I haven’t really used it yet to decide if it does. I do know that I have used the cards from previous months to look up products online so as long as I can get that same information I’m good.  I did go over and look at the site and they have lots of cute info on the products and links to the sites so you can order more.  That does make things easier.

Everything included in this month’s box.

Inspire Ever After stickers (These are exclusive to Planner Addict but similar ones go for about $3.50) These are very springy looking and are some pretty basic stickers which will work in most planners. I love the empty squares so that I can add other stickers to the top or jot a note on them or about anything I want.

Hurry Up and Plan (This is also exclusive to Planner Addict but similar ones go for $2.00) I love the larger words and designs on this sheet.  Since I also use my planner goodies for scrapbooking these will work great in that or in some pocket pages or even my planner if I wanted.

Pineapple Paperie Page Flags ($2.25 each for similar ones) I love love love sticky notes and page flags. I add these to all kinds of things.  Both sets of these are fun and follow the color scheme of the box perfectly.

Planner Addict Box Exclusive Sticky Notes – More sticky notes and my heart is happy. I love that they faded out the center of the note so that any writing can be seen. I have some that are pattern all the way through and it makes it hard to see what I write so these will make that easier and leave plenty of room for notes.

The Angel Shoppe Clip (These are exclusive to Planner Addict but similar ones go for about $4.50)- Clips are new to me but I have really been using the ones I get in my boxes. This is a nice spring one to go with my other goodies.

Pink Stripe Washi:  Very nice and light washi. This will go with lots of things and I’ve already added to my stash.

Ashley Shelly Notebook Bestie ($5.00): If you couldn’t guess since I keep a paper planner but I also love writing notes on actual paper. I’ve got a stash right next to my computer and I can use when I just need to make a note. This is so pretty and will be my new go to notebook.

Planner Addict Box Pen: Planner Addict sends nice pens. I use the pen I get each month and they are smooth and I’ve had no issues.  I like that they send pens in a planner box and that they have sayings on them that coordinate with that months theme.

Sour Patch Kids Candy: Yummy candy.  While I do like Sour Patch Kids my 5 year old loves them and once he saw this one it was gone.  He is hoarding it for his dessert tonight.

I’m really feeling the pink in this months box. I like the simplicity of the stickers and that they are very basic so can be used on lots of pages and products. They again sent lots of great sticky notes which are faves of mine and will be used regularly.  I also really love that they use so many etsy shops and I’m finding new stores to shop from to get some unique items for my crafting.
