Your Bijoux Box Review & Free Gift Coupon – September 2015

September’s Your Bijoux Box was unusual! Completely fair trade, and a matching set!  Your Bijoux Box is a monthly jewelry surprise subscription box. Every month you’ll receive 3 curated pieces of jewelry delivered to your door! Each piece will come with their favorite styling tip and why it was selected.

When In Doubt, Wear Red! Everything came in a nice organza bag.

As I mentioned above, this month was different – the 3 pieces comprised the Crimson Mimosa Set – with a pendant, bangle, and earrings! They’re all 18k gold overlay with Czech crystals (and a gorgeous fall-inspired aurora borealis finish). The card gives three styling tips, too!

Each piece was packed in its own bag.

And the set! Hopefully you can see the color-changing effects on the crystals!

Crimson Mimosa Pendant: This came on a nice medium size chain with an interesting leaf droplet. I really like the length on this piece – it gives the illusion of a long necklace without being so long that rests on top of my bra (I’m short, so I have issues with long necklaces). This is great and I think I’ll probably layer it with some other gold necklaces for a fun look!

Crimson Mimosa Bangle: This was the spoiler item, and it’s so pretty! I’ll definitely put a video up on our Unboxings channel on Youtube so you can see the different colors sparkle!

Crimson Mimosa Earrings: Like the necklace, these give a nice illusion of length! I like the leaf motif, it elevates it over just a plain earring!

This was a nice set, and I’m not accustomed to getting a trio of items. It was unusual but good to have something a little different – I’ve absolutely wished for some of my sets in the past to be more matchy matchy. I hope in the future when they do these fair trade pieces that they include some information on the artisans. I think that’s always a nice touch!
