Geek Fuel is a geek & gamer subscription box. It’s a monthly mystery box of at least $40 worth of geeky goodness with exclusive games, toys, gear, collectibles, and all things epic.
Everything in the July Geek Fuel box!
The information card details all the items in the box.
Flip side. I like this style of information card – it’s fun!
A mini mag comes with the box. This month included a pin with the Firefly logo (but they called Mal Mel. Whoops!). SHINY. Translates to serenity.
There are various articles but this month I thought I’d mention that there’s a monthly Ultimate Geek Gift Guide.
Mini-Pint Shot Glass ($5?) This is for an “ant-sized man!” This is cute and we’ll definitely use it (but I always use them for weird things like earrings!).
Steam Download Code – Burnstar – and Star Candy ($10) This actually interested me, but it is for Windows only 🙁 My kids will love the stars and I will pass along the code to a friend!
Marvel Secret Wars #001 – Civil War ($4.99) Came bagged and boarded, with an exclusive variant cover. This was published only 2 weeks ago, so it’s really hot off the press! The artist for the cover is Todd Nauck, and more of his work is featured in the mini mag. I love how he was inspired by the first round of Secret Wars.
The Civil War never ended. Welcome to the Warzone, where six years of non-stop battle between the forces of the Blue and the Iron have split the nation down its center, utterly transforming it. In a world of new alliances and strange enemies, President Tony Stark and General Steve Rogers meet to make one last attempt at peace.
This also came with a certificate of authenticity, although I don’t know if that’s necessary for variant covers???
Packaging for the *rolled* poster (you know I hate folded posters!).
Aliens vs. Vampirella Poster ($8?) Vampirella takes on the Xenomorphs. New comic crossover!
Le Tour de Geek ($15) I didn’t score the yellow jersey, but this one is still fun! I love how Link leads the pack!
My estimated value for the July Geek Fuel box is almost right on the nose with last month, at $43. It was a fun box – not my fave – but still good. I don’t usually get into comics but I really have no background on Secret Wars, and I know it’s the next big thing. Will President Stark and General Rogers make peace? I have to read it to find out!!

I’m totally lost on comic books but I do know it is unacceptable to call the Captain Mel LOL wow what a typo they had there since I’m sure any true comic geek knows and loves Firefly. Shiny
