The Boodle Box theme for June is Summer Shimmer!

June 2015 Boodle One Review

boodle box girls review june 2015

Everything in the super cute Boodle One June Summer Shimmer Box!  This box is for girls 5-10.

IMG_4743

Pink Hair Glitter Paste ($7.50)

Jane Tran Pony Cords ($5)

I love this fun hair stuff! My daughter really flipped over the hair glitter paste, plus the pony cords are perfect for girls.
IMG_4744

Bling YOLO Lip Gloss ($5.99)

Nourishing Hair Mask ($2.50)

The lipgloss is attached to an adorable bedazzled reel clip and is perfect for keeping gloss available at any time. She feels so special when she gets gloss! The hair mask is definitely going to be needed with all the pool time this summer.

Girlfriend! Flowered Hair Turban ($15.99) This is great for actually drying your daughter’s hair.  Mine’s is never ever dry and it’s a nightmare! I threaten to cut it all off daily, but hopefully if we can instill some self care in her this summer we won’t have to resort to that 🙂 [Note that mine was summarily removed around the same age due to extreme chlorine damage, so I’m trying! but dang I was cute with that cut and my underoos!]

Plus there was a fun candy bracelet! We used some of these items (because we got two boxes) for a birthday gift at a pool party, and she was so excited to share her bracelet with a friend (giving away candy is such a big deal when you’re 6).

Royal Standards Bikini Bag ($9) As I mentioned – all pool, all the time, so having a wetbag is wonderful, especially one with such a great Greek key design.

This was a fantastic and cute box with great items (that were adorable too!). The total value was around $45! For girls that are in need, a coupon to Yellowberry as shown below was included – a company that makes fun, cute, and appropriate bras for young girls. (oh goodness, I am not ready yet!). I’m going to be 100% honest – besides the hair glitter & pony cords, I would’ve personally used everything in this box! So stylish.

This looked like a great box and perfect for a tween or teen girl for the summer!IMG_4751

“I Don’t Sweat I Sparkle” Bling Iron-On ($5) This is a cute iron on that with a little help, your girl can complete a project super quick! There’s always a t-shirt to be blinged up somewhere!

Plus there’s a contest!IMG_4752

Secret Destinations Collection – Paris Romantic Rose ($3.97)

Eva NYC Surf’s Up! Texture Spray ($10)

PPEP Cosmetics Purifying Daily Cleanser ($12.50)

Three perfect summer body items – deodorant (yay stealing this one!), an excellent hair texture spray (I use one brand or another every day – this is a good one!), and Prep’s daily cleanser. A great time of life to be clean, experiment with the hair, and develop a solid cleansing routine!
IMG_4753

Neon Puffy Paint 4-Pack ($7.65) More fun crafting, I love puff paint and as long as we use lots of newspapers, I’m always down for puffing up old sneaks, cutoffs, or whatever.

IMG_4754

Royal Standards Bikini Bag ($9) This box also had an adorable fun swimsuit bag, perfect for beach, pool, or just keeping messy things in (if your teen doesn’t do the pool, you can always just keep items safe in there – it’s fully lined!).

This was also a fab box for girls – with slightly older body/cosmetic items and accessories, although as you can see, some items remain the same from box to box – like a fun candy treat and the swim bag! The total value was about $48. Again, as an adult woman, I think these boxes are awesome and would be delighted to get them just for me, and I can imagine girls of any age would be wowed!  If you want to see more examples of either box, check all the reviews!

My youngest has been getting Boodle Box 1 for 10 months! She adores the lipgloss on the clip and has it hooked to her chalkboard ledge at the moment. I thought this month was a bit too old for her (she is 8). Overall, I have been very pleased with Boodle Box for her. I unsubscribed for the summer (just dropped $500 plus tax and shipping on an American Girl Bakery), but I may resubscribe in the future. Glad to see the Boodle Box 1 vs Boodle box 2 review!
