A good quality belt is hard to come by short of a trip to a tanner, so this Bespoke Post box was a welcome arrival. Bespoke Post is a men’s lifestyle subscription box. Each month, you’ll get to choose from one of the limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. There are usually two new boxes to choose from every month in addition to a selection of past boxes. One of the great things about this subscription is that you can skip the month if you’re not interested in it. You can save 25% on your first Bespoke Post box with coupon code JOIN25.
The “Worn” box features accessories that get better with age and take on additional character the more they are worn. I received a heavy-duty belt and a handsome money clip.
Bespoke Post always includes a booklet describing the care that went into producing your new treasures.
The Packaging is always top of the line, and belts, ties, etc. usually come with a cloth bag.
I chose the redder or the two leather choices in hopes of matching a pair of Bostonian shoes I’ve long had. The coloration is very bright, but this belt is meant to age, and I am assuming it will darker as it develops a deep patina and shine. You can see from the picture the thickness of the single strap construction (not several sheets of leather stitched together). It is very stiff and “veg tanned” for a durable leather that ages nicely.
The hardware is solid. The silver-plated buckle is sturdy and hefty, but attractive.
The Owen & Fred money clip is a great accessory. It’s nice to ditch the wallet occasionally, and this solid brass clip is elegant and just the right size for a couple cards and some cash. Made in Chicago, it has a nice shine and is in no way flimsy.
