Everything that came in the box! It seems that Koala Crate is big on sending reusable durable items, this is great!IMG_6682

Koala Crate comes with Imagine! magazine, full of fun games and activities to help extend the main projects in this box.

My son is a HUGE fan of this! He just loves doing it.IMG_6680

The first project was “rolling ramp.” It helped preschoolers explore how far a truck would go depending on the angle of the ramp and included a measuring activity!IMG_6679

Tire Track Painting – This cool (reusable) “magic paper” turns black when it gets wet. The kids have played with this over and over again. My 6 year old is really enjoying this box even though she’s well past the age range.

She’s the helper!IMG_6681

City Streets – This used wood blocks, street signs, and washi tape to create a roadway. My husband may have gone mildly overboard!washi tape roadway

This project was simple but gave us hours and hours and hours with the kids out of our hair. My husband said that he taught E all the signs, the rules of the road, and really extended the activity. My daughter decided to add a farm to it!

This was a fun box and the activities were focused but extensible – perfect for that tough preschool age. My husband is a new stay at home dad (he’s actually stayed at home with all the kids, but never with a kid older than 2) so this is new territory for him and he & E are both loving this box.

I’m exited since any box that thinks to make a roadway out of washi tape has to be awesome. That might be the coolest idea yet and I’m sure we will be doing that when we get home from our cruise. 🙂
