Orange Glad is a really fun gourmet dessert subscription box featuring items from independent bakeries from all across the country. They gather all the desserts and ship them right to you to enjoy! All the treats I have ever received have been perfectly packaged, which is remarkable, because they are all fragile and perishable. I ummm made sure to eat everything in the box so I could give you the perfect review. It was really good! I mean like really really. It’s ok if you don’t have any self control because you will get another box the next month!

June 2014 Review
The Orange Glad Sweet Box was nestled inside the larger box, it was super cute! Very giftable!
Fine Sconehenge Baking Co. Luscious Lemon Bar – Lemon bars are my fave, so this was pretty exciting. I ate it when I was talking to my husband on FaceTime, and then I felt sort of embarrassed. Nobody should watch pregnant women eat sweets.
Rip Van Wafels Traditional Amsterdam Wafel – Love Stroopwafels! I hid this in my stash. Then I took it out and ate it. I prefer mine cold so the waffels are crispy and the inside is sticky, but lots of people like to soften their up on top of a mug of coffee or tea.
Lily’s Bakery Shop Hamantaschen Ummmm this was the best hamantaschen I’ve ever had! The pastry part was to DIE for. There were two of them and I went to eat the second one.. And I realized I’d already eaten it. I didn’t get my bestie anything for her birthday (SORRY!) but I might have some of these shipped to her. She would die, beat me up for sending her favorite cookies, and then eat all of them. Yipes, $15 shipping. That’s why Orange Glad is so neat!
Cheryl’s Buttercream Summer Cookie – I love Cheryl’s. Especially because you can pop the individually wrapped ones right in the freezer. I did not do that, I ate it. It was just as delicious as all the other Cheryl’s cookies, and cute too.
The Cravory Salted Caramel Cream Cookie – This. Cookie. Was. Everything. You can also get a Cravory subscription. Sign me up! Amusingly, the year long prepaid subscription is exactly the same price as the LMdB beauty vault subscription. Orange Glad doesn’t offer year long subscriptions but you can get 2 6-month subscriptions for $239.40 total, which is significantly less than either.
I have never had a disappointing box from Orange Glad, and I’m always surprised how many awesome and unique baked goods and other treats they seem to hunt down, from all over the country. When I consider the logistics of gathering all these items, shipping them to one place, packaging them, and arranging them in the gift box and getting them to me in perfect condition, I’m just really danged impressed.
Visit Orange Glad to subscribe or find out more about the Sweet Box! It’s $15 per month (you can save a buck or two on each box with a longer subscription) plus $6.95 shipping. You can also double the treats in each box which is a great idea, especially for dessert gifting. You can also check out more Sweets & Treats boxes in the subscription box directory.
