Honest Company Healing Balm Review: Diaper Rash + Skinned Knees

We are on vacation at my mother-in-law’s house and didn’t take much with us. Including diaper cream. My kiddo hasn’t had a diaper rash in about a year and it’s really not something I think about too much.  I’m not sure what he ate but he had a terrible terrible rash that wouldn’t go away. He screamed and cried when I wiped him. It was terrible and I am stuck at the house without a car.  And we are literally in the middle of nowhere.

Fortunately I am a squirrel and had some Honest Company Healing Balm

I went through this entire house and didn’t find anything I could use. But I did find a tube of Honest Company healing balm tucked away in my backpack. (I did say that I liked it!)  I had nothing to lose so I covered his butt with it. It’s organic and unscented so it was a great choice, and while the rash is still healing it is protecting his poor bottom. It’s made of all natural castor, sunflower seed, olive, coconut, and tamanu oils, beeswax, and has calendula and chickweed for healing. (The chickweed is for itching, burns, skin kind of things).  Calendula I have long been a fan of and find that it does really heal. Worked great on a skinned knee, too!

Coupon for The Honest Company for New Subscribers

I don’t like that I have to use the phone to change my Honest.com account, but I do like the products, so I’m sticking with them. I would recommend giving them a shot and if you sign up using my Honest.com link  you will also get a promo coupon code for $10. (New customers only – look for it right at the bottom of the screen after clicking the link!) For current customers I recommend giving the healing balm a try — and watching your email for random credits! I took advantage of one last week!

No pictures to go with this one. For obvious reasons 🙂 I have been happy with everything I have tried and the shipping right to my door is easy and convenient (and really, for me, a necessity!).
