Bespoke Post is in and I was totally blown away by this box! I mean really, I didn’t expect it to be quite so full and wonderful, even though I had seen the photos on the website! Bespoke Post is a monthly subscription box for men (see my mini directory of men’s subscription boxes!) and costs $45 per month shipped. Each month you have the option to get the box or pass on it. It’s very easy. I actually had a voucher to Bespoke Post and have been passing on the boxes for quite a few months without issue. As this is our very first Bespoke Post, I don’t know if it’s always the case, but ours had a bonus item. Sweet!

You can sign up for Bespoke Post using my link (thank you thank you!) and get on the email list. Bespoke Post calls this box the Box of Awesome, and it totally was. I was very surprised by it!

So let’s get to it! Bespoke Post arrives in this box, by post. I know this because there was some weird car in MIL’s driveway and I went on the porch to go menace at them and found that this box was waiting for me. Did I mention they live in the middle of nowhere? Mail is on a rural route and delivered by Subaru.

And when you lift the flap you see…

Opening the Bespoke Post box you find an unfrilly but very neat presentation

I’m always so amazed that the boxes look so nice when I open them. How the heck do they do that?

Dopp Kit, Blue Claw Co. I looked up this kit and I discovered that it’s worth at least $70 retail if not closer to $90. It is so so lovely with the details and the canvas and the bright blue liner (the Blue Claw signature). I know my husband will use this for years and years. It’s made in the US and I think the blue claw crab logo on it is awesome and gives it a little punch of fun. Obviously this by itself was worth the price of the box!

So then I opened the kit. I couldn’t believe this haul!

Really, I was totally surprised. And impressed.

Double Hitter 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner 8.5oz + Reformer Matte Finish Texturizer 0.35oz 3.0oz, MITCH® by Paul Mitchell. This link is for a giveaway. Neato. Anyhoo, this is a sulfate-free, 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner, great for graying and thinning hair, and an excellent styling product. My husband is psyched to use these. Apparently he doesn’t have any shampoo right now. These are FULL SIZE items! And I will also note that these two items were sealed in a plastic bag separately so the dopp kit wouldn’t get ruined if they accidentally leaked.

Handmade Gold Moss Soap, 5oz, Sasquatch Soap Co., Cremo F ace Wash, 4.4oz, Cremo Company and Mini Gold Bond lotion. The Gold Moss soap is cold-pressed out of olive oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, organic shea butter, sea salt, and fragrance oils and smells mantastic. I am stealing the face wash. I mean I am sharing with my husband. Which means I am stealing it. Oh that’s terrible, I guess I’ll let him keep it. And a mini Gold Bond men’s lotion. The Cremo Wash is slightly less than full size but still substantial and the soap is full size.

Gold Bond Body Powder, 1oz, and bonus Cortizone-10. I guess this is for your itchy man things. Since I would prefer to keep all those mysteries alive I will just leave these for my husband and shan’t discuss them further except to note that the Cortizone-10 is a full size item.

Marvis Mint Toothpaste, and Drinker’s Multivitamin, drinkwel. This is actually going to be the third tube of Marvis, which I discovered is imported from Italy, we have received in a month. All in the same flavor. Our teeth are going to be mint-tastic! As for the drinkwel, it has milk thistle in it, which is great for liver function. I lived on milk thistle in grad school. I digress.
This is an astonishingly high value box and is easily worth twice the $45 price tag. And it came with stuff we will use. You can click the picture below to see everything up close.

Should you splurge?

I think that Bespoke Post should be tried at least once. The boxes are very different month to month and you will want to sign up at Bespoke Post to keep an eye on them if it is a box you are interested in. The themes are radically different. I chose this one because my husband really likes dopp kits and his is old, ratty, and nasty. This one is pure luxury and it came with plenty of items to make me very happy about the purchase price of the box – but I would have been happy with just the bag!

Previous boxes have included a gourmet salt theme, BBQ, shaving, coffee, home accents, and more. You’ll need to sign up to see the boxes I think. It’s kind of a weird setup on the website but you can see everything without purchasing as long as you put your email address in. I *believe* that Bespoke Post partners with Details magazine still and you can expect the items you receive will be the kind that would be in a one-page mini feature. I think this is great because I would never rip out a page of a magazine and go buy everything for my husband, but it’s just so much fun! I feel very luxurious on behalf of my husband.
