Avenue Sweets Caramel Assortment: I just got really excited because I realized that this is the same brand I received in my Pumpkin Batch, which was amazing! Pecan (Brown), Sea Salt (Light Blue), Golden Vanilla (Yellow), Peppermint Chocolate (Red), and Sea Salt Chocolate (Blue). I had totally intended to save half of each for my husband, but I just inhaled that vanilla, and it’s delicious, lightly caramelly and only slightly sticky on your teeth. This is probably the best brand of caramels I’ve ever had.
Chuao Chocolatier Holiday Chocopods ($6) I love Chuao! (My baby is very partial to the bacon flavor!). Each of these features little bits of different ingredients. I indulged in the gingerbread and it was so good! Only 60 calories, too!
The Art of Caramel Brandy-spiked Eggnog Caramel Popcorn ($5.50) The nice smell of eggnog wafted up at me when I opened the bag, but I think I enjoyed the smell better than the taste, which was like an eggy caramel. My husband will love these.
Malvi Red Velvet Marshmallow Cookie Sandwiches ($8) I have heard some serious raves about these, and I wonder if mine weren’t a little stale. I didn’t like them! The marshmallows were very fluffy and seemed commercial instead of from an artisan maker. I do prefer really dense marshamallows.
This box was delivered about 10-11 days ago but we weren’t home, so I’m really taking my own impressions of the sweets with a grain of salt. I loved the chocolates and the caramels, which are both going into my personal stash. Don’t tell my husband!

I also didn’t like the marshmallow cookies. They didn’t taste fresh and this is coming from a marshmallow lover. The red velvet cookies were greasy and a little too salty. I loved everything else though!
