The items in the May 2022 My Paper Box were inspired by the Kentucky Derby! Funnily enough, I’ve never watched this or any other horse race, which is funny because my mom is from Kentucky! Of course, I still wanted a pony when I was a kid so at least I get some on my stationery supplies this month!

Desk Calendar The desk calendar has the month-at-a-glance on one side and a list of holidays, some of them more obscure, on the other side.
Jotter Cards I’ve never heard the term “jotter cards” before but from what I can tell, it’s a mini card to write reminders or lists. There are five in the pack and they measure 4.5″ x 3″. They are on sturdy cardstock.
Mini Greeting Cards There were four cards in this set and they measure 4″ x 3″. They are also on good cardstock but they have been pre-folded in the middle. You can attach to a gift or leave on a desk for someone to find.
Sticker Sheets There were two sticker sheets and they each have the same designs. These are adorable and they can be placed on envelopes, inside a planner, or however you wish to use them. My favorite is the one that says “Hold Your Horses”.
Greeting Card The greeting card is 7″ x 5″ and comes with a matching envelope. The inside is blank and it can be sent for a variety of reasons.
Pencil Set Two pencils with punny sayings help carry the theme along. Hmm, I wonder if I can find a pencil sharpener somewhere?
Derby Inspired Notepads I love the notepads that come from My Paper Box, and you can purchase a separate subscription just for pads (and they have a different theme from the Deluxe box). The pad on the left measures 8″ x 5″ and has lined pages. The pad in the middle is 8″ x 3.5″ and also has lines. The pad on the right is 5″ x 3.25′ and this one isn’t lined. These are perfect for lists, notes, etc.
I don’t know anything about the Kentucky Derby but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the items in my latest My Paper Box! I’ve always liked horses and you can never go wrong with flowers, and they look cool together. The notepads are always my favorite item but the stickers and greeting card also made me smile this time around.
