Target periodically sells non-subscription Target Beauty Boxes – depending on the contents, they are themed and cost $5-10, and sell out quickly! January’s boxes were themed Refresh and Renewal and were up for sale for a few hours on January 4. Wow, what a great brand discovery! These aren’t particularly high value items, but I cannot write about the brand better than they write about themselves!
While cancer-causing chemicals, mutagens and reproductive toxins are still legally tolerated contaminants in hair care products, you won’t find them in ours. It has been specially formulated to give you all the extra volume and shine you want! Carcinogen free ingredients or by-products. Vegetable-based and biodegradable. Certified eco-friendly by EcoLogo. Caress Love Forever ($0.53) A body wash said to release scent on touch – and last 12 hours. I have received this item (different scents) in several Walmart boxes.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer ($1.40) This is an interesting idea – the moisturizer is formulated to blend with water on your skin on contact. I have yet to test it out, but it would be a great way to not stand around for 50 hours after shower & lotion.
Degree Motionsense DrySpray in Fresh Energy ($4.99) This is a full size deodorant spray and although I’m not sure what MotionSense technology is, the can says it’s a 48 hour antiperspirant.
Scünci Everyday & Active No Slip Grip Braided Headwrap ($5.99) It fits on my head, doesn’t slip, and doesn’t give me a headache. In fact I tried it on with the tag and totally forgot it was there. The back of the tag has a $1 off coupon, too! The bottom side has little grippy stuff and it’s totally super comfortable.
LaNeige BB Cushion ($13.6) This item is now exclusively available at Target in the US. (and I did actually calculate the value from a full size – but realistically – it’s worth a third of that because two of the shades probably won’t work for you). I have tried this product multiple times before and it’s a fun light foundation that’s easy to put on.
Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara ($8.99) I believe this was sent out to everyone in Blackest Black – but if you prefer a different shade you should be able to exchange it at Target! The brush on this is unique and I’m definitely going to try it – there’s always a new ultimate mascara!
You squish the other side of the applicator into the sponge and then apply to your face!
Hada Labo Tokyo Ultimate Anti-Aging Facial Mask ($3.75) I have enjoyed all the products I have tried from this brand. This sheet mask is infused with super hyaluronic acid, which draws moisture into your skin.
What an awesome box for seven bucks! I came up with a value of about $40.50 for this box – about $27 without the foundation price included, so I would say the promised $30 value was accurate, and I was happy to see that they didn’t load up the value with that calculated in there. Amusingly, I was most excited about the two small ATTITUDE samples, because they were totally new to me!

I did not order this box because there were several items I knew I would not use and now I am sorry I didn’t. the price is so good I would have come out to the good just using the items I wanted to try. Will remember this next time. I did buy the other box and loved everything in it but the Scunci (I don’t have enough hair to put one in).
FYI: The foundation looks like a high end cosmetic foundation called IT. Just saying.
