The box itself looks elegant and sleek in black.
It’s fairly huge. The Winter 2018-2019 box is themed The Formal Edition.
All the items are neatly packed inside the box.
Each box includes a well-designed booklet describing the products in the box and offering use or styling suggestions for each one.
It also lists brands featured in this quarter’s box.
A short missive sets out the vision for the curation, describing how each item fits into a contemplative day out and about.
The booklet normally includes a group picture of all the items included inside the box.
The photos are all high-quality!
Each brand featured in the box has its own page, so you learn a bit about the product and company behind it.
Like you find in the monthly Gentleman’s Box pamphlet, they’ve worked in some fun content relating to the items in the curation — such as this grooming before a night out!
There’s also a tip related to the theme.
For a watch to properly fit, it should be loose enough to slide around a bit, but not loose enough to where you can fit more than three fingers under the band.

As always, I enjoyed going through this informative booklet.

Articulate Lifestyle Leather Tie Case ($30) It’s a sophisticated leather tie case to protect all your favorite neckties in style.
The item comes in its own box.
The exterior of the necktie case is made with black leather.
Inside, the case features a dual slot with a maroon velvet lining.
It fits perfectly in a dresser drawer to keep the dust away. You can also load it in your luggage to keep your ties in good shape even when traveling.
Ocean Boulevard Silk Tie ($65) It’s a black silk tie that pairs well with black, navy blue, and gray suits.
The tie comes in a plain black box.
It has classic white polka dots on it.
It’s soft, lightweight, and very stylish. Definitely a classic!
Wurkin Stiffs Manicure Set ($40) Aside from having a great outfit, being a real gentleman also has something to do with proper grooming. This manicure set for men surely comes in handy.
Everything is stored in a black leather case. This bag contains 10 items in the manicure set.
Printed at the back is a brief history about the creator and their mission to make essential products for men. I had high expectations – I love this brand!
The logo of of the brand is etched at the bottom.
Inside the bag are a spectacle screwdriver, cuticle scissors, eyebrow tweezers, nail cleaner, nail clippers, nail file, comb, clothes brush, and a multi-functional mini-folding knife.
The brush helps me keep my clothes free from fibers, fluff, and unwanted falling hair. The comb is small but still does it job of keeping my hair neat.
These nail clippers come in two sizes, the smaller one is for the fingernails while the other is for the toenails. They are high quality.
The nail file is used to shape the edges of the nails while the cleaner is used to further clean some area of the nails where regular nail clippers can’t easily reach.
There’s even a tweezer to help me keep my eyebrows in shape. Meanwhile, the cuticle scissors are for removing any excess dead skin on the fingernails.
This multi-functional mini-folding knife is made from stainless steel with 3 tools combined in one. It includes a file, a bottle opener, and knife.
The last item in the manicure set is a spectacle screwdriver. This mini tool is used to repair or adjust small items such as cable wires, watches, other small gadgets, and even eyeglasses. So handy and very useful!
Breed Holden Watch ($150) A beautiful watch is not just a regular accessory. It could also be a statement of your system, style, and sophistication. This black watch definitely fits that purpose.
The watch comes in a black box with BREED logo on top.
Inside the box is a gorgeous black timepiece made from black genuine leather and polished alloy silver circle casing.
It features a classic Japanese Quartz Movement with full-function chronograph.
The leather bands are 20 mm wide near the case and 18 mm near buckle. Its case is 48 mm wide with the crown and 11 mm thickness.
It also features a white analog dial with white and silver luminous hands and date display.
Engraved at the back of the leather straps and stainless steel case is the Breed’s logo. It’s a great everyday watch because it’s so versatile!
Barnaby Socks ($22) I also got an exclusive pair of socks. They designed it for the holidays, but not necessarily in holiday colors.
The socks come in a glossy black box with the brand’s logo on top.
The socks are made with 80% combed cotton,15% polyester, 3% spandex, and 2% nylon.
Barnaby socks are designed in Australia and made in China.
This pair of socks features a black base with gray and white stripes. These are thick but soft and comfortable.
Barnaby socks are known for having a hand-stitched button at the cuff. This button is used to keep the pair from getting separated when washing and storing.
Stitched at the bottom part of each sock is the Barnaby icon.
Gentleman’s Box for Winter included a lot of great items that are not just stylish, but also very useful for travels and even everyday use. My favorites are the watch and socks. I find them really cool and ideal to wear in any kind of occasion. The manicure set is so handy and it offers a variety of tools that is surely useful for keeping me clean and well-groomed all the time. All in all, this quarter’s box is amazing. There’s a longer wait for this one, but it’s definitely worth it because of all the premium items they send! This box in particular is a great way to get your wardrobe freshened up for the New Year!
