Clear Essence Lemon Plus Vitamin C Body Soap Scrub. This soap smells good enough to eat. The only thing I don’t like about it i=s that I feel like it overdries my skin.
Noughty To The Rescue Shampoo & Conditioner Packette. Sweet almond and sunflower seed extracts help to transform and smooth splits, snaps and frizz for a fairytale ending. Free from petrochemicals, parabens, sulphates and silicones… it’s great! My hair is acting the way it should with a few washes with this amazing product. I have restored faith in my curls.
Lottabody Twist Me Curl Styling Pudding. This really is the consistency of pudding, thick and lasting. Enriched with coconut and shea oils this non-drying curl pudding left my curls defined without any crunch. In fact, I had a coworker ask if I just got my hair done because my curls were on point. This is a great product that is going to last a while but once it’s gone I will replace it.
Lottabody Fortify Me Strengthening Leave-In Conditioner. Not all leave-in conditioners are the same, this one is a few heads above the rest. It leaves my hair soft and detangled while working it’s strengthening magic. Most importantly it smells like coconut and I feel like the spray in factor helps get better coverage than cream leave-in conditioner.
HSI Professional Argan Oil Infused Thermal Protector. The go-to product for women who style their hair with flat irons, curling irons, hair dryers or any other hair appliance is the thermal protector. Now I don’t use any styling appliance but I worked this through my hair for added shine and anti-frizz control on ponytail Saturday.
Luster’s Pink Apricot Oil. Ultra-light and easily absorbed, soothes skin without being overly greasy. It can be used from head to toe and works amazingly. I have received this before from Cocotique and I still love it! I have made this a part of my weekly beauty regime, I love having touchable soft skin that smells super sweet.
Black Radiance Perfect Tone Matte Lip Cream in Naughty Brown. This new non-tacky second skin creme lip gloss is pure pigments blended in a creamy liquid base for a soft, cushiony feel. I’m not huge on brown lips but I do love how this left my lips feeling. I might have to find a few other colors to fill in some holes in my lip color collection.
Black Radiance Perfect Tone Lip Gloss in Deep Rouge. High shine lip gloss that conditions lips with botanical extracts and provides lasting anti-oxidant protection. This is going to be in my purse at all times for those moments when my look needs a pick me up.
Swatches! Both colors are so pretty, I might have to change my mind on that brown matte lip color.
Urban Hydration Vanilla Bean Sugar Scrub. This sugar scrub features a rich, sweet scent, along with healing and exfoliating properties that work hard to leave your skin feeling softer and your body feeling rejuvenated. I wish the sugar was just a little more fine as the large crystals kind of hurt my delicate skin.
Cocotique is a great fun way to learn more about products that are designed with women of color in mind. This month brought some amazing products to my door, my favorite being the Lottabody Leave-In Conditioner. I love getting this box because my hair has never looked or felt so good.
