Nerd Block is a geek & gamer subscription box straight out of Canada. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines. It really is a box for everyone! My son received the Iron Man 3 set from last month’s Nerd Block for his birthday and has been totally obsessed with it. I gifted the shirt from last month to my twelve and a half year old niece. I think this would be a fun family box to get (and hint – if you want to share shirts, get the shirt for mom and let the kids wear it as a nightie sometimes!).
The Description: Amonthly mystery package delivered right to your door filled with nerdy apparel, toys, and collectables! Every Nerd Block comes with a custom t-shirt (Has men’s regular, fitted, and women’s fitted tees – and youth sizes!) and 5-6 epic items for you to tear into!
The Price: $19.99 + $9.50 shipping per month
December 2013 NerdBlock Review
Epic Zelda Shirt ($20) Link on his horse in front of the TriForce! This is a nice, soft shirt and the sizing is just right! I get a women’s fitted medium.
Samurai Inferno Watch ($11) This is cool if you don’t want a watch that looks like a watch. It’s a men’s product though and my husband would never use this – or any man in our family probably! This goes in the trade pile! FYI, you can totally remove links from this bracelet watch if you need to make it smaller.
POP! Movies Vinyl Figure ($9) Invisible Bilbo!
Marvel Grab Zags Series 1 ($2.50) Mine is a light up projector. It’s broken :/
Monster Marbles Series ($1) This is part of a game and you typically purchase them on a card along with 2 other marbles and a piece of chalk. Even if it had included the rest, I’m not sure what we’d do with it. So this is a fun kids’ toy.
Gogo’s Crazy Bones Series 1 ($2.50) I don’t know what these are for, but my son will love them. Stickers too!
My Nerd Block had a value of $46, but mostly we like the shirt and the figure. It’s fun to get a monthly geek-friendly shirt with a grab bag of fun loot to go along with it!
