Bluum is a subscription box service that sends products for moms and babies to your home each month. Bluum curates its boxes by selecting the highest-rated products geared for a child’s particular age. Boxes are available for pregnant moms and moms with children between the ages of 0 and 5.

DEAL: Get 30% off with a 6 or 12 month subscription. Use coupon code BABY30OFF.

Unlike many subscriptions, Bluum gives you the option of selecting your own products each month. A caveat though: sometimes, even if you select your own products, you’ll get something else. Maybe they think that adds to the excitement? Who knows.

My daughter was very excited about what she saw. Actually, I am too!

Everything from the box!

This month’s box included a cute photo card with a quote I really liked: “Children see magic because they look for it.” Something to ponder for us adults, eh?

Okay, moving on to the first item…

I like how Melissa & Doug Wooden Story Blocks Educational Toy ($9.99) encourages creativity and imaginative thinking. We love reading books but getting to make up our own stories is fun too!

It includes eight blocks, each featuring six pictures. All you have to do is roll the blocks and then make up a story with the pictures that land face-up. This makes a great afternoon bonding activity at home!

Stephen Joseph Memory Game Set had cute and colorful pieces that can capture any toddler’s attention. There are 30 pieces in total and they come in a reusable storage box. To play, just jumble the pieces and let your kid match the pairs. Simple mechanics, but definitely enjoyable!

I’m so excited to share Cinderella (illustrations by Dubravka Kolanovic) to my daughter. This version is a much simpler retake of the classic children’s story, which I think is just appropriate for her age. She’ll definitely learn a new vocabulary word or two from this book. The illustrations are wonderful too!

We also got Jack and the Beanstalk (with illustrations by Gavin Scott), another popular children’s story packed with moral lessons. I’ll save this for her bedtime reading!

Bluum is for young children, but our entire family actually enjoys our monthly selections. It allows us to have quality time together. The story blocks and memory game set were a hit and the classic story books are definitely keepers! There wasn’t a lot of variety this month, but all the items were high quality and useful.
