The April 2024 Cloth & Paper theme was Planning in 3’s, and many of the items had three distinct parts. When you start your subscription to Cloth & Paper you will indicate which size planner you own (there are 11 options to choose from) and you can expect 7-9 unique planning and stationery items each month along with two writing instruments.

PLEASE NOTE: Cloth & Paper recently changed to one box option a month. It’s no longer called the Planning + Stationery Box (and there’s no longer a Penspiration add-on) – from here on out, it is called the Intention Box.

Everything in the Intention Box for April!

Here’s the card that shows each item in the box along with a description.

Quilted Nylon Dust Bag Cloth & Paper sends a bag every month and I’m eager to see if that trend continues next month. The bag for April is quilted and in keeping with the theme, there are three columns on each side. I’m going on a trip later this month and plan on taking my iPad, which fits perfectly inside this bag!

Rule of Thirds Dashboard can be used in your planner to separate a section. It has a short list of ideas for planning in threes.

Undated Acrylic Calendar is 11″ x 7.5″ and works best when placed against a plain, solid background. You can use a special marker (one was included, see below) to write on the surface and possibly place stickers on there if they will stay. At the end of the month simply wipe clean and get started on the following month!

Pen Set We received two markers can be used on acrylic, glass, fabric, or ceramic surfaces and I tried them both out on the acrylic calendar. The pen on the top writes in a very light shade of blue, which wasn’t helpful, while the bottom pen was vivid and extremely helpful. The top marker wrote fine on paper, and it’s double-sided. The marker on the bottom also writes on paper, although make sure it dries completely or it will smear.

Page Clip Set We received a set of three (of course!) large paper clips that are the same shade of (army, or maybe olive) green as the quilted dust bag show above.

Planning in Threes Sticky Note Set Next is a set of three sticky notes, each one containing 50 individual notes. They have a matte finish and the colors coordinate well.

Priority Sticker Set Stickers are always in this subscription box and this month we received four sheets, each in a different shade. There are 60 small, 36 medium, and 24 large stickers in all.

The Time Block Pad has 50 weekly sheets, so it should last almost a whole year. It has room for blocking off periods of time, but not much else. For instance, I could block off “Work” from 8-5, but there’s not really much space to write tasks in the tiny cells. You also may use the stickers as shown above for blocking, and there’s a video on the C&P YouTube channel that gives some ideas on how to use this pad.

The April Cloth & Paper Intention Box was different in a few ways from their previous subscription offerings, but it came with products of the same high-quality as before, with a somber neutral color palette featuring olive green touches. I was thrilled to receive the puffy dust bag, my iPad fits in it and it will help cushion it on my upcoming trip. The rest of the items work together to promote time-blocking and other planning ideas for increased productivity. Missing from my review was the Reflection Prompt Card and June Pop-Up Calendar, but they were in the box (please see the very first picture of this post, you may spot them there).

Cloth & Paper offers a monthly subscription box of their planner supplies, inserts, and writing instruments. The items look sleek and Cloth & Paper believes “there is luxury in simplicity”. Our readers love this subscription – Cloth & Paper was voted as the top pick for the best stationery subscription this year!
