The ratings are in: Glam is staging a serious comeback! Drawing on over a decade’s worth of beauty mastery, Patrick’s spilling the products he swears by and the pro techniques he’s perfected to help you nail your own full beat. “Growing up, I was so intrigued with the idea of transformation, but I thought I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup,” he says. “Once I realized that you are in control of your body and beauty, it was game over!”
Patrick continues: “I grew up with amazing drag queens, like Roxxy Andrews and Angelica Sanchez, who really inspired my glam. I learned from them that glam is for everyone. They embodied glamour in the most maximalist way. When the stage lights would turn on and the music started playing, it was magic. I literally fell in love and told myself, ‘I want to be that GWORL.’”
Today, Patrick’s beauty philosophy is that makeup is one-size-fit-all—literally! His Icon Box collection (featuring his own brand ONE/SIZE, among many others) is truly for everyone: It’s for the unseen and the unheard and to give everyone a chance to feel what it’s like to live that glam life. “I’m also fighting for the younger me and the younger generations. You can be whoever you need and want to be on your own terms,” says Patrick. “That decision from other brands to have their products in my Icon Box speaks volumes about them. We are spreading inclusivity, awareness, and individuality through my Icon Box—and we love to see it!”
Ipsy’s Icon Box is $60 per shipment + $1.99 handling fee, and is a limited edition upgrade to Ipsy Glam Bag and BoxyCharm by IPSY. Icon Box will have 8 full-size products each quarter (up to $350 for Icon Box x PATRICK STARR).
