IPSY’s new feature, Power Picks, will guarantee coveted products and brands in every box, while BoxyCharm’s Beauty Boost will allow select members to include a premium add-on item. Members will also get access to new commerce events with exclusive products.

Starting mid-March, we’ll be moving current BoxyCharm members over to IPSY—everything you need will be on IPSY.com, including some new, added benefits! You’ll be notified via email when your access to the IPSY site is open.
Once your account information is moved over to IPSY.com, you’ll be able to manage all your accounts safely and securely at IPSY.com using your same BoxyCharm login details. However, if you’re also a current IPSY member, you’ll use your IPSY login details to access your account (instead of your BoxyCharm login details). As always, your payment information and data will be kept safe and secure. Feel free to change your login details and payment information after you log in, if you’d like!
Your next membership renewal will be in April via IPSY.com. The best of both brands are coming together under IPSY to create the ultimate beauty membership with more perks than ever before, so your subscriptions may look a little different:
- Glam Bag is staying as Glam Bag—same great membership and price + extra perks.
- Glam Bag Plus will be BoxyCharm—same great membership and price, with a new name + extra perks.
- Glam Bag X will be Icon Box—same great quarterly upgrade, with a new name + extra perks.

Can you all tell me what boxes besides Ipsy/Boxy you subscribe to and really like. I’m ready for a change from Ipsy.
So, if you don’t get Ipsy instead or in addition to the Boxy boxes, you no longer have access to the mega drop shop? I guess that’s how they get you to subscribe to both boxes. I’m out. That was my main reason for getting Boxy Premium. The drop shops have been going down hill anyway. They were great for awhile.
From the email I received you will still have access to mega drop shop as long as you are still getting boxycharm box however it will be on the ipsy app.
Am I right in thinking then that we just lost 2 boxes per MONTH plus the LUXE box which was quarterly?
I dislike the cheap Glam Bags full of made in China samples from no- name brands usually and I hate the Refreshments line of goo. 3 tubes of Citrus ( lime) lotion in one month.
They left out an IPSY product to put the huge lotion in the GBP. I will not buy Refreshments again because of this.
And this is an improvement how? Why are we supposed to be happy about less choices, less brands, less products? I guess I’ll go find 3 new subscription boxes now. 🙂 Bath Bevy is #1 on the list and is all bath products!
The luxe box is replaced by the icon box. I think we all saw this coming when ipsy bought boxycharm. There was so much duplication and overlap in the products and clientele, it made little sense for ipsy to operate both brands.
You have a very valid point. I realized last month when I was swamped by Refreshments Citrus body cream from both boxes that this duplication ( of a product that I hate the scent of) could not continue.
They could have used a much more ” luxe” box model and started out with no products made in China as one of their tenets, but they didn’t, because it’s all about profit.
Kind of sad there is really no monthly mainstream luxury cosmetic/ skincare subscription box out there that I know of, still.
Bath Bevy is amazing, you won’t be disappointed!
I ADORE both versions!! Have a severe addiction to Fortune Cookie Soap, though, and didn’t have the extra mad money for ALL 3 until now. 🙂 Once I figured out that I can get both Bath Bevy subscriptions AND all the full sized FCS products ( big drop tomorrow) it’s a JOY!!! Hugely fun, lots more fun than makeup and skincare.
I would love to see this site really feature Bath Bevy and FCS of the Month, which is insanely inexpensive and includes both samples, a full sized product from a not- yet released collection, a new collection sticker and a lollipop. It encourages self- care and whimsey at once!! I don’t know about anyone else, but I am mature aged and could not love my bath and body products more.
Life is stressful, ageing is no fun. But a fabulous bubble bath, or bath bomb or one of the MANY creative fun things Bath Bevy and FCS come up with make my evening relaxing and happy and I go to bed smelling like Sleeping Beauty probably would smell ( This month’s theme is ” Once Upon a Dream” and is all about Sleeping Beauty.)

FCS has WONDERFUL monthly boxes for only $20.00 shipped. Usually the one full sized item is almost worth the price of the box. 🙂
I joined many years ago when the actual ” fortune cookie” shaped soap was the draw, and I hated that thing. I am not a solid soap type person. So the box kind of went to waste.
It is 100% different now. Also, whereas Bath Bevy is curated around the seasons and the weather very well and so prettily, FCS, as you know, goes WILD with fantasy and whimsey while still giving customers wonderful whipped body and bath potions, lotions, soap ” slime” which I love, and all the gorgeous bath bombs.
Are you getting the special Easter collection based on Roger Rabbit and Jessica? I bought 2.

What’s your favorite item from FCS? Mine is the Satin Slippers Shimmer Hair and Body Mist. It was from the ” Nutcracker Suite”.
My favorite Bath Bevy product which I keep restocking is their bath bomb in the dark purple color and lucious spicy scent they call ” Manifest”. It was from October’s box. Lots of payoff in that bath bomb!! 🙂 Note: The name of the product is just their name for it to me. I don’t believe baths conjure up anything except maybe deeper, more relaxing sleep. 🙂
I’m sorry, but ipsy hasn’t been “full of made in China samples from no-name brands” for years. They do carry some white label products, but 4/5 of my bag is brands that are pretty well known. Besides that, the WHOLE POINT of beauty boxes is to discover brands and products that you may not have tried before, not to just get products you’ve used over and over again at a steep discount.
Maybe ipsy gives you the stuff nobody else wants because you have a terrible attitude.
Well, let’s see: On 2 different occasions, Ipsy sent out both a lipstick and a mascara that were contaminated and hurt many of my fellow subscription boxters. I thought they both smelled strangely and wouldn’t use them.
People were seriously hurt and some went to the E. R. or doctor to get help for pain, swelling and other side effects. The brand of one of the products was Be A Bombshell and it was made in P.R.C.
A few months ago, I received an Alicia Keyes Glam X box, actually I paid for 2 accidentally. I thought it would be really cool. Every product in the nice purple jars was made in China. I threw away 2 full boxes, my choice.
I have not been rude or hateful to anyone and never will be. If you want to risk putting toxins on your face, near your eyes and on your lips that are NOT produced under good production conditions, that’s your choice. I stand by my philosophy that ” Safety comes first” when it comes to my face, mucous membranes and body skin.

Wonder if their glam bag will still come with a little zip bag. I know that bag is divisive, but I personally really like it and find it to be very useful.
I did not know it was divisive. I, too, love the little bag. I have an annual so I won’t cancel either way but I hope they keep the bag.
I think the zip bags are staying but they’re getting rid of the drawstring ones.
