Cajeput Essential Oil ($12.99) is related to tea tree but it smells a little sweeter and not so medicinal. It can help soothe muscles and reduce breakouts.

Juniper Berry Essential Oil Blend ($13.99) is supposed to aid digestion and soothe sore muscles. It smells like an evergreen bush.

Lavender Essential Oil ($13.99) helps promote rest and may soothe skin irritations. It has a classic clean, floral scent.

Relief Essential Oil Blend ($14.99) is our blend of the month and it is made up of eucalyptus, peppermint, copaiba, juniper berry, and rosemary essential oils. It’s a magical blend that smells wonderful, but then I love peppermint!

Body Oil Base ($3.99), Mango Butter ($2.99), and a Cosmetic Tin Container ($1.50) are our extras for the month and will be used to make the recipes we received!

Simply Earth always includes a sheet of pre-scored stickers to place on our bottles and finished projects.

Each month we receive six new recipes to add to our collection.

Some of the recipes continue on the back of the card, while others have important info about the subscription.

Below are some of the projects I completed using this month’s recipes and extras!

The diffuser blend was wonderful, and smelled warm, floral, and uplifting thanks to that peppermint in the Relief Blend.

For the Relief Massage Oil I needed my new oils, the Body Oil Base, almond oil (from my Big Bonus Box), and a 2 ounce bottle of my own. It helps if you have a funnel to get the oils into the bottle but other than that, I just had to measure the oils and then shake it all up.

I placed the provided sticker on the bottle and that’s it! This is supposed to help soothe sore muscles.

Next I made the Winter Frost Lip Balm. I gathered my oils, the new Cosmetic Tin, and a couple of items from the Big Bonus Box. I measured, melted, stirred, and mixed before pouring into the tin and letting it cool off.

Here’s the finished product, doesn’t it look great?! It leaves my lips silky smooth.

I made one more item and it’s the Muscle Rescue Balm. I used my oils, some items from the Big Bonus Box, and a glass container that once held a lip scrub but that will now hold my balm. Like the lip balm I measured, mixed, melted, stirred, and poured and then left it to solidify.

Like the massage oil, this is supposed to relieve sore muscles. It melts on contact with the skin.

I always have fun following the monthly recipes from Simply Earth! Body care is one of my favorite beauty categories so I was excited to make some products for myself. These were super easy and mainly took a bit of stirring to get the beeswax melted and then to wait for the product to harden. I thought the lip balm and muscle balm looked like something I might buy in a boutique or at a farmers market! I didn’t try the whipped body butter but I might try making that another time. Simply Earth is a great way to experiment in the world of essential oils and they make it easy to have excellent results each time.

Above is an insert I received and below is a box opening picture.
