Lemon Essential Oil ($9.99) Lemon smells so uplifting and this one also reminds me of lemon candy! It can be used for cleaning and leaves behind a bright scent.

Nutmeg Essential Oil ($11.99) Yum, this one smells just like the spice that I grate on top of eggnog! Nutmeg may help ease digestion and relax muscles when used in a rub.

Spearmint Essential Oil ($12.99) While I absolutely love peppermint, spearmint smells awesome too, and of course it’s very refreshing. It helps digestion and supports respiration.

Winter Spice Essential Oil Blend ($12.99) is more winter and not so much spice, as it’s a combo of tangerine, fir needle, and balsam fir. It smells a lot like a Christmas tree and of course it’s very uplifting.

The extras I received (to be used in the recipes below) are a Massage Stone ($2.99), 10ml Spray Bottle ($2.99), Test Tube Container ($1), and Gift Tags ($1.99).

Simply Earth always includes a sheet of pre-scored stickers to place on our bottles and finished projects.

Each month we receive six new recipes to add to our collection.

Some of the recipes continue on the back of the card, while others have important info about the subscription.

Below are some of the projects I completed using this month’s recipes and extras!

For the Holiday Body Spray, I used the pretty bottle and oils from the monthly box, coconut oil from the Big Bonus Box, and distilled water that I already own. I mixed it all up and poured it into the bottle, which was hard since I don’t have a tiny funnel so I made a mess but I managed to get some of it in there!

I placed the label on the bottle and there you have it, a body spray. It’s minty and has a hint of citrus and of course, it’s fleeting but nice while it lasted!

I enjoy diffusing the oils most of all, and this blend had me checking my shirt to make sure I hadn’t spilled toothpaste down the front. Once I got past that, I liked it and it smells clean.

For the roll-on, I found a rollerball bottle and coconut oil from the Big Bonus Box. I mixed the oils in the bottle, poured in the oil, and gave it a shake. Don’t forget to really push that rollerball on top until it’s all the way in.

Once again, I have a minty fresh scent, with the same notes as the body spray. Roll away to get the uplifting benefits of aromatherapy!

Simply Earth is a helpful subscription for those who are new to essential oils and who want to learn more, especially since you will gain access to the Heroes Course for an in-depth lesson so you can feel confident when putting your oils to use. Each month has a different theme and the projects are usually pretty simple but there are others that have more steps or that introduce new techniques. There are extras in the box but you may need to have some ingredients or items from home. My favorite way to use the oils is through diffusing, but some people may look to oils as a replacement for traditional cleaning or beauty products. It’s up to you!

Above is an insert I received and below is a box opening picture.
