Kinder Beauty Box for October 2023 was themed The Treatment Box and inside there were five items that are meant to treat different areas of the body, including the brows and neck. Kinder Beauty lets you “build your box”. They send three items chosen for everyone by Kinder, then you will get to customize two other items from a short list. You are also able to purchase add-ons that ship with your monthly box. Kinder Beauty kindly sent all of the item choices for review so the picture shown above is what I would have chosen for myself!

Everyone gets these three items!

Earth Harbor Azure Regenerative Neck Cream ($48) Although we don’t need a separate product for the neck, since we can use our regular face creams etc. there, I must say I don’t always remember to give that area the TLC it deserves. Having this on my counter reminds me to actually use it. It’s supposed to brighten the area, plump up those fine lines, and just improve the area in general. It has a quick drying non-oily consistency and a barely there sweet floral scent. Some of the ingredients are pumpkin, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, copper peptide, and more and the scent comes from plant extracts.

Jazmine Beauty Brow Boss Styling Wax ($20) I think the idea behind this product is to get feathered brows without microblading. That’s not my preferred look so I used this to just groom them for a neat and tidy appearance. The first time I used this, I must have used too much because my brows looked wet and gummy, and the product dried into a look that was not good so I had to wipe my brows clean and try again. The next time I barely dipped the brush on the gel and I was able to neatly brush my brows into place.

Laruce Brow Groomer ($28) One end of this brush has a spoolie brush to help get the brow hairs into place. The other end has an angled brush which you can dip into brow powder or you can use it to smear brow pencil into place.

Choice 1: Here are the choices from category one:

Avarelle Gunk Out: Spot Tech ($16.99) Most acne patches are made with hydrocolloid, which draws out pus overnight (just place on spots before bed and remove in the morning). This version also has tea tree oil (to reduce swelling) and cica (to fight irritation). I am passing them along to my daughter as this isn’t something that I need or can use at this stage of my life. My daughter will be thrilled to have them!

The Nue Co. Barrier Culture Cleanser – Travel Tube ($12) is supposed to help preserve the skin’s barrier by providing all kinds of biotics: prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, they’re all in here! It’s a gentle cleanser and I noticed it left a film on my skin afterwards, so I used a toner just in case. The cleanser created a small amount of foam and I didn’t detect any scent.

Scentuals Grapefruit Turmeric Hand Repair Cream ($10) This is a pretty big tube of non-greasy hand cream so it is going into my work bag since I will be able to easily find it when needed. Some of the ingredients are sweet almond oil, shea butter, glycerin, oat protein, and turmeric. It smells mainly of citrus and my hands absorbed it quickly.

Choice 2: Here are the choices from category two:

Jane Iredale HydroPure™ Hyaluronic Acid Lip Gloss in Blossom ($28) This shade is described as hot pink but it gives my lips a hint of pink color that looks natural, not bright, even when I applied two coats. It can be paired with a lip liner if you are looking to make a statement but I like it as is. It felt good on my lips, not sticky, not oily, just really comfortable. It is supposed to hydrate with hyaluronic acid, exfoliate with lactic acid, and plump with peptides. Some of the other ingredients are jojoba oil, castor oil, and mango butter. It’s flavored with vanilla extract but the scent is very subtle and I can’t taste anything weird when it’s on my lips.

AllWell Beauty Botanical Radiance Face + Body Mask ($42) is a thick face mask that looks and even feels like fudge (but doesn’t smell like it, sadly). You spread it around your face or body and then wait 15-20 minutes before either rinsing (which I did in the shower) or rubbing it off. It has maple extract, glycerin, safflower seed oil, charcoal, and more and no added fragrance, but some added essential oils. It doesn’t smell like much of anything and I noticed my cheeks stayed red for a while after I rinsed this off, so I will be using the rest of it below the chin.

Kinder Beauty continues to send interesting beauty products, some of which I wouldn’t have thought to choose for myself. I’m talking about that neck cream, because I need help in that area for sure! I liked the brow brush, if nothing else I usually brush my brows when putting on makeup so that they’re not going in five different directions. I also ended up liking the brow wax since I now know a little works best for my preferred look. The hand cream smells lovely and I am thrilled to have a lightly colored non-sticky gloss nearby to brighten up my lips even when I don’t have access to a mirror. The value for the items in my box as shown above is around $134 but of course your value may vary depending on which choice items you pick.
