The Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray ($12) is an essential remedy perfectly suited for tackling the challenges of humid days. Designed to waterproof hair and effectively put an end to frizz, this spray promises glossy, smooth locks. The formula is weightless, and I appreciated the simple activation process – a blow-dry with tension is all it takes. I’m excited to see if this spray can truly work wonders and keep my hair looking sleek and styled, even on the muggiest of days. Living in Florida is definitely a challenge when it comes to dealing with my hair and the humidity!

Belif Aqua Bomb Hyalucid 11% Serum ($10.67) is a promising addition to the box, especially as the summer sun still lingers. This serum vows to deliver a dewy radiance, with the help of five types of hyaluronic acid, coupled with ingredients like aloe vera, ferulic acid, and glycerin. After application, my skin felt instantly quenched, and I look forward to experiencing the long-term benefits of this serum in the days to come.

Anne Klein Rose Absolute EDP Sample felt like stumbling upon a bottled essence of summer itself. One disappointing aspect was the perfume plug wasn’t in all the way, so it leaked all over my hands. But, I appreciated the mix of woods and musk in the base notes, which provided a subtle depth to the scent. In terms of longevity, the fragrance held up admirably throughout the day, which is essential for an EDP. Its versatility makes it ideal for both daytime adventures and evening affairs.

Tula Skincare Protect + Glow SPF30 ($38) shields against sun exposure and the potential harms of pollution and blue light, fitting seamlessly into both indoor and outdoor routines. Its non-comedogenic, non-greasy gel formula, enriched with probiotic extracts, pineapple, and papaya, not only provides reliable protection but also nourishes the skin. A notable bonus is its compatibility with makeup. Its lightweight formula seamlessly integrates into my makeup routine, ensuring a smooth application and preventing any unsightly clumping or smudging.

Static Nails Liquid Glass Lacquer in Coconut ($16) has a semi-sheer pink hue, which seemed universally flattering. As someone who enjoys the convenience of home manicures, I appreciated the promise of a salon-like finish with this product. I did however, receive this in a previous box.

Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original ($19) is a great addition to my makeup removal routine. Designed to effortlessly melt away stubborn face and eye makeup, this cleansing balm caters to all skin types, indicating its inclusive and versatile nature. Its skin-loving formula not only cleanses but also hydrates, emphasizing the importance of maintaining skin’s moisture balance. As the initial step in the double-cleansing routine, this balm sets the tone for a thorough skincare regimen, ensuring my skin remains clean, refreshed, and prepared to absorb subsequent products.

Laritzy Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Curve ($16) boasts a light mauve hue that resonates with fresh and summery aesthetics, providing an opportunity to enhance my looks with a touch of soft color. The promise of a high gloss finish without any stickiness or glue-like feeling often associated with lip glosses is particularly appealing.

The La Ruce Brush Set reveals a trio of versatile tools to elevate my makeup application. The LR100 Concealer brush is a precision powerhouse for flawlessly blending and concealing imperfections, while the LR008 Angled Shading brush is well-equipped for adding dimension with ease. Lastly, the LR105 Short Shadow brush is perfect for packing on and blending eyeshadows effortlessly.

In this August 2023 Allure Beauty Box, the selection feels just right for the end of summer. The inclusion of a protective sunscreen, hydrating serum, and versatile makeup essentials ensure a graceful transition into the changing seasons. What I loved most about this box was its ability to cater to both skincare and makeup needs.
