The May 2023 Cloth & Paper theme was CEO to help us plan projects and look good while doing so. If you are new to this box then know that they have a few different subscription options, and you can choose planner sizes based on the planner you use at home or work. This is a review of their Penspiration AND Planning + Stationery combo, which is $54.99 a month and drops to as low as $49.99 a month when you choose the 6-month term. (Please note that the picture above is of BOTH boxes combined!)

Planning + Stationery Box

A handy card showed each item in the box.

Here’s everything in the Planning & Stationery Box!

My items were tucked into this reusable sturdy pouch.

Fika Dashboard and Don’t Settle Dashboard fit in my planner as a sort of divider between inserts each month. They’re printed on sturdy cardstock and I especially like the mirrored metallic finish on the Fika dashboard.

Meeting Notes Insert This insert has 17 pages for keeping track of things you want to remember during meetings. The last page is filled out as an example.

CEO Folder Set is a set of three folders in a frosted plastic finish. They don’t have labels on them, but luckily we received some this month that would probably pair well (see item below). They are 6.75″ x 9.25″.

CEO Label Stickers There are five sheets of translucent stickers – two sheets have words in black, two sheets have words in white, and a final sheet has no words at all, you get to write your own.

Compact Mirror This mirror comes in a pleather case and says “LOOKING GOOD” across the top. This will come in very handy.

Grit & Grind JC, July Pop Up Calendar, Luxury JC The journaling cards are like mini works of art for your planner, but if your planner doesn’t have card holders on the inside cover then you may need an insert of some sort to keep them in place. The calendar has slots on the bottom so you can slide one side over the other and there you have it, an upright mini desk calendar.

CEO Writing Collection This set of pens was personally selected by the Cloth & Paper CEO. We were sent CoInk Double Ended Highlighter, CEO Chic Liquid Fineliner, and Lopet Smooth Classic Gel Pen. Cloth & Paper is so wild about pens that they have a separate subscription for the writing implements alone, which you can see below.

Penspiration Box

Here’s everything in the Penspiration Box!

Penspiration Board is on the left while the Pen Test Sheet is on the right. The Penspiration Board has a journaling prompt on the back to get you started.

This To-Do List has space for listing important tasks that need to be done and I actually think this will be super useful to me as I love to make lists and then cross things off of the list. So satisfying.

Set of Pens All five of the pens this month feature black ink and a 0.5mm tip. All five have smooth flowing ink and write like a dream. The one at the top looks a little pale compared to the rest but that was due to user error, it is working great now! I thought it was cool how all of the barrels are creamy beige yet they have special touches to set them apart. If you want even more info on these pens you can find the details at the Cloth & paper unboxing blog on their website.

Are you feeling like a CEO after receiving your May boxes from Cloth & Paper? I know I certainly look like one, or at least my desk looks like a boss. I thought the mirror was a nifty idea, and it feels sturdy. I also liked all of the pens of course, because who doesn’t need more pens? The To Do list and file folders are my favorites this month, they will come in handy while planning my summer projects, which involve decluttering my house and getting ready for next school year.
